staff very helpful, some too obsequious

depends on what you want as to the price being worthwhile. no esresso martinis.

I have talk to the bar staff to be more helpful when it come to service our guest. we do have espresso martini in our menu. Excellent stay

Couldn't have picked a better location. We stayed in the annexe building which has a even better vibe than the hotel building. The hotel cafe was awesome . Loved loved loved the rooftop heated pool! Really good poolside drinks and food and excellent service. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous . We will surely return!

Awesome place to stay next to ocean drive enjoyed a lot, happy hour should be at the pool too

Great location wirh easy beach access.

Pros: Personalized service and attention to detail.
Cons: Room service could be more attentive.
Location: Quick walk to the beach, lots of nightlife and easy access to the shopping district.
From the moment John greeted us in the lobby our stay was a delight. Yoel took great care of us at the bar downstairs and Javier was his equal at the poolside bar. Dave the bellman had bags at the ready the moment we checked out and Miranda, the manager on duty during most of our stay, was a consummate professional. We have a new hotel in South Beach.

Most relaxed and great ambience hotel ever

Overall great experience and definitely The Hotel of South Beach made it more unforgettable. Neil and John was such a great help and most resourceful which made our stay even more comfortable. All staffs were nice and friendly. Would definitely stay again at The Hotel when we do come back again in next future.

Best hotel stay I've had

From the time we got there to when we left this hotel impressed me from the start. I believe it was Daniel who checked us in, he made us (my friend and I) feel welcome. The staff is amazing and friendly and the location you cannot beat. I'm currently sitting at work and dreaming about the views from the hotel. I would definitely stay at the hotel of south beach next time I come to south beach!!

Nice, quiet hotel with exceptional staff.

Pros: Consistency! Always exceptional, never a problem. Beautiful rooftop pool.
Cons: Dining options at The Hotel are very basic. But the best breakfast location in South Beach (The News Café) is only 150 feet away.
Location: South Beach is South Beach. You can be a party animal all day long, or you can lounge at the beach or the rooftop pool - your choice.
Quiet boutique hotel with great staff (Daniel, David, John, etc.). Close to all the "action" - bars, restaurants, beach and shopping - walk to everything without the nighttime noise of Ocean Drive. Rooms are always exceptionally clean, service is attentive - a beautiful tranquil oasis amidst the insanity and nightlife of South Beach. My ONLY choice when in South Beach. Recommend the Clevelander (10th & Ocean) for sports fans and Happy Hour, recommend Mango's (9th & Ocean) for live music and local flavor, recommend 11th Street Diner (11th & Washington) for classic diner/comfort food.

Comfortable and clean

Very nice hotel, we stayed in the facility on Ocean Drive. The building one block away on Collins Avenue has the gym and a small pool, which were very nice. It's also convenient to have the News Cafe right alongside the hotel. Good happy hour and very attentive staff.
