Old-fashioned

Check in was very slow, my reservation wasnt found in the system. The hotel staff reacted very reserved, and I took a lot of questions to fix my reservation problem. Room seem very old fashioned but half way clean and spacy. Water pipes in the bathroom were rusty. Its location is perfect. Sadly I have to say, I will choose a different hotel next time.

Close to the beach

Pros: Close to the beach. Nice pool.
The room was very large.They should have queen beds in the room not full size beds. Needs updating.

Pros: Location and staff. Room at arrival was good but did not change towels.
Cons: dirty corridors, don't working elevators, a lot of people at the pool

close the beach, but terrible hotel, worst breakfa

The people working terrible, the breakfast is the worst, the people work in the breakfast terrible, the room smells very bad, I don't recommend this hotel for my enemy, this is the worst place ever.

perfect location, nice hotel in good condition

Pros: Cool huge lobby, like in an airport, they have a bar and breakfast buffet (food is just ok,) ideal location, lots of young people and families
Cons: not sure, I think the building is slight old, but well maintained
Location: it is right across the street from 7-11, and a few blocks from restaurants
For years I always drive by this hotel and area, it is like the vacation place to be, right near South Beach, and Miami Beach, its very spiritual to be there, great for just walking along the beach, or going shopping, reading books, etc., I would recommend to a friend, also good for families.

Not the fanciest

Well, this is not the fanciest hotel, but it very convenient. It is well located next to the beach and has a huge swimming pool. Also some of the rooms are outdated but the all have refrigerator, microwave and stove. I'm my opinion you can't beat it for the price.

Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
Cons: EVERYTHING. Repairs/Remodel seriously needed. Customer Service does not exist.
Location: Location is in sketchy area; not safe to walk alone anytime. Nothing near by-- will need to somehow make way to either SOUTH BEACH or Midtown Miami
I would not even wish this location on my worst enemy! They did not provide clean towels and washcloths and my group was told to wait until the following morning to receive. The ceilings in the rooms were in bad order AND THE TUB IN MY ROOM WAS HORRIFIC!! Pealing horribly and quite disgusting looking. Not clean! It was creepy even standing in the tub with shower shoes on attempting to get clean. My room also did not have ANY drawers; there was NO phone, but yet our bellhop told us to just "dial 7 before the room number of the hotel guests you want to reach". They promised to switch my room, but just come back later when the rooms are cleaned and ready. We went back to the front desk numerous times over a period of days to attempt to get reassignment but that never happened. Each time we went back when suggested to return, we were told "Oh all the rooms are sold out, we can't help you". EXCUSE ME??? You told us you were holding the rooms in the system for us so they would not be given away, so don't worry just come back later. These people tell many lies and can not be trusted. BTW, we discovered that if you are not a latin born guest and did not fluently speak the language you do not receive service-- only smirks and lies. They ignore the non-spanish speaking guests to literally and abruptly serve the latin guests. Hotel is in serious need of repairs and is NO WHERE NEAR SOUTH BEACH. Sketchy area at best.
