Older Hotel - close to beach

Pros: The view
Cons: The cleaning service
Location: This hotel is on the residential end of Miami Beach. You have to take a car, cab or uber to get anywhere.. Tours do pick up at this hotel.
This hotel was a disappointment. I expected better for the price we paid. The hair conditioner pump in the shower leaked all the conditioner and made the shower very slippery, in addition, the shower handle came off in my hand when I turned it on. We spoke to the front desk and they did tighten the handle but the leaking hair conditioner pump was not fixed or refilled. When they “cleaned” the room, they only left bath towels the 2nd and 3rd day, no hand towel or wash cloths. On the plus side, there was a nice view of the ocean.

Never stay here.

So dirty. Tub was stained. Corners filled with hair and rust or some kind of orange substance. We would never stay here again. Paid for a third night but ate the cost and stayed at the Hilton two doors down. Staff was great but couldn't make up for the disgusting-ness

Would not say again

Pros: nothing
Cons: the restraint staff, the craze charge added on for having your children with you, and updated door locks
Location: don't go to the restaurant in the hotel, walk two blocks and get way better food for 1/2 the price
This hotel was a joke, they change me an extra $30 because we had our two children with us. Then to add breakfast it was $25 more, which I though would be a half way decent breakfast. Well for $25 we got cold bread or a bagel and orange juice, then the so called waiter that brought it to you, demand we leave a $1 tip per person, even after messing up what we had said. We could have went to the 7-11 across the street or the subway down the street and gotten much better for $25 without having to leave a $4 tip for them messing up.

Old-fashioned

Check in was very slow, my reservation wasnt found in the system. The hotel staff reacted very reserved, and I took a lot of questions to fix my reservation problem. Room seem very old fashioned but half way clean and spacy. Water pipes in the bathroom were rusty. Its location is perfect. Sadly I have to say, I will choose a different hotel next time.

Close to the beach

The room was very large.They should have queen beds in the room not full size beds. Needs updating.

The people working terrible, the breakfast is the worst, the people work in the breakfast terrible, the room smells very bad, I don't recommend this hotel for my enemy, this is the worst place ever.

perfect location, nice hotel in good condition

Pros: Cool huge lobby, like in an airport, they have a bar and breakfast buffet (food is just ok,) ideal location, lots of young people and families
Cons: not sure, I think the building is slight old, but well maintained
Location: it is right across the street from 7-11, and a few blocks from restaurants
For years I always drive by this hotel and area, it is like the vacation place to be, right near South Beach, and Miami Beach, its very spiritual to be there, great for just walking along the beach, or going shopping, reading books, etc., I would recommend to a friend, also good for families.
