more than disappointed

first room we moved into was right next to the back door of the hotel which was used every single second and slammed into the lock. making it impossible to snooze after our flight. no table or chair in this room. wallpaper was ripped. asked and got different room. a little quieter but not much more comfort. also no table or chair. but a mini fridge. hallway carpet very used, stains etc. for the $$ paid absolutely overpaid!! they also charge a security deposit ($200.... not quiet sure what for...!) which will be credited back to your card within 5-10 business days! really?! pictures on expedia online looked good, thats why i booked it. very sad and disappointed that we had to experience a whole different hotel.

Dear Billy, I am sorry to hear you are disappointed. I would like to clarify. What happens from time to time is a miscommunication from the company to the guest. In the fine print of your confirmation, and on the website there is a $100 a day deposit for incidentals that will max out at $250. This is fully refundable once you check out as long as nothing happens to the room. It usually takes 5-7 days and is an automatic process once you check out of the room. We will also be renovating our rooms and lobby area in the coming weeks. This should fix the hallway and room issues.

Great area

Location: Dinner , beach , shopping center
Good staff, good area , "lots of things to do! " ! I loved the area and the things you can do at the hotel like the resort ! Worth the money ! DEFINETLY Recomend

Customer service was good, rooms had a moldy smell , wires out in the open and wall board was detached. Awful smell in the bathrooms.

Rest assured that I will speak directly with the Maintenance, and housekeeping managers and will bring this to their attention. We will also be renovating our rooms and lobby area in the coming weeks. This should fix the smell in the bathroom, and the wires that were out issue.

Beach hotel

Nice hotel right across the street from the beach. Very small boutique hotel. Small rooms. Ac doesn't work that great but great views. Heart of south beach. Didn't eat there so can't rate the food but the strawberry mojito was to die for! Staff was excellent. I would put some money into the hotel. It feels like all the remodeling is half assed. And a guest can feel and see it. I wouldn't stay for more than a night or two. It gets claustrophobic in those small rooms

Affordable, luxurious with great location.

Really nice room size, bed was very comfortable and pillows were very fluffy. I thought it was cool that the room included a tablet that could be used to order services instead of having to call.

Great location. My room is the opposite of kitchen (the last one available) but still pretty quiet, can't hear much noise. Complimentary drinks and breakfast, parked at 16th street garage for $20 per night. Overall, great experience at south beach.

El primer día fue mala experiencia. Nos dieron el cuarto 106 enfrente de la cocina. Muy desagradable escuchar y salir y ver la puerta de la cocina. También me sentí engañada porque me cobraron el resort fee, cuando en la pagina de hotels.com dice que viene incluido wifi, desayuno y toallas. También la fachada del hotel no es la misma que en hotel.com
