Wonderful staff!

Pros: The cleanliness and comfort. The front staff was awesome and helped direct our day trips and dining. They always greeted us when we were in the lobby.
We had such a great stay. The rooms were so comfortable and the staff was awesome. They knew where to go and what to eat. We were a block from the beach and walking distance of great food and fun. I would stay there again!!

It does not live up to expectations

Let me start by saying the hotel staff were amazing! Very friendly! The lobby is beautiful. Our first night we did not have AC in the room. They fixed it the next day while we were out and reimbursed us a day of resort fees. The remote in the room wouldn't turn the tv on or off so at night we had to get up to shut the tv off. The last 2 days they ran out of clean bath towels bc they didn't get their shipment. That was just weird for a hotel to run out of towels. Also the pool looks nothing like the pictures on the website and it should be known that the restaurant and bar are not open due to renovations. I would give them a try again once the restaurants open because the staff was lovely and the location was great.

Wish they would have a mini refrigerator in the rooms. Everything else was awesome.

Good stay

Location and price was a key reason as to why we booked The Stiles. Literally 3 mins from the beach, surrounded by multiple stores and restaurants, and everything including shopping was in walking distance. The rooms were a bit dated, there wasn't much room in the washroom around the sink area and the shower tiling was older. Also our room didn't have a view or a fridge (I'm sure we could have paid extra for both). Overall, staff was friendly... would recommend to others.

Nice hotel within walking distance to everything.

Pros: Helpful staff, great location.
Cons: An onsite restaurant is needed.
I stayed two nights in a terrace suite, which was definitely worth the extra cost. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is close to the beach, Ocean Drive, and within walking distance to Lincoln Road. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant or bar at the hotel but there are plenty nearby. The hotel is right on Collins near 11th Street so it can be noisy but that is the same for any hotel in South Beach.

Good bed & location, poor customer, loud hotel

The hotel is located in a central location to the beach and bars, which means street parking is impossible. Valet parking is $45 and the only option if you don't want to park far away. Only one person at the check-in counter, which explains the long wait to get through on the phone. Check-in was easy once he showed up to the counter. The room was large with a big bathroom and big comfy bed -- all of which were clean. But the door had a 2-inch gap from the floor and it was a very noisy hotel with thin walls.

Great location, could've been cleaner

I enjoyed my stay here! The staff was great and it's literally in the heart of South Beach. Walking distance to all of the major bars/clubs and a block away from the beach. Even though the hotel is located on the popular Collins Ave, hearing street traffic and party music was rare. My only complaints are that there was no microwave/mini fridge and that the bed sheets could have been way cleaner. I don't want to see old stains on the bed I am supposed to lay my head on.

Nice hotel with some problems

I'm giving a 3/5 because the tiny size of the bathroom, the mildew smell in the shower, the fact that we were not warned the pools would be under construction while I was there. The positives were the decor, nice sheets/mattress, helpful staff. If your staying there in March 2017 I'd call to ask about the pools usability.
