Nice hotel, very friendly staff, great location.Posted Jan 10, 2016
Pros: The location, the nice room and the great staff.
Location: Walking distance of the beach and great bars, shops and restaurants.
Me and my wife stayed at the Stiles for one night after returning to Miami after a cruise. Although the check in time was advised as 4pm, we went to the hotel around 10am and were told a room was available. I had called the hotel from the cruise ship a week earlier and had asked if we could check in earlier than 4pm. The hotel said that would not be a problem and that if a room wasn't available we could still hang out at the hotel. The hotel charges a 15 dollar a day resort fee and we were able to get beach chairs from a vendor on the beach (two blocks away) as part of that deal. The room was very comfortable and clean and there was complimentary bottled water in the room. The hotel also has free wi-fi which was great as we hadn't had access on the cruise ship. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had an early start the next day and they ordered a taxi for us the night before. There was a bar in the hotel, but it was being renovated at the time we were there. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and walking distance of great restaurants and bars. Ocean drive is one block away and the beach is one block further. I would definitely stay at the Stiles again.

Close to Beach and Nightlife, but not 4 starsPosted Dec 28, 2015
Pros: Location was the best thing about the hotel
Cons: Provide room service or some type of dining option
Location: Beach, Shops, Starbucks, Ocean Avenue strip.
The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel location was a very close to beach, although it states 2 blocks, it was very short two blocks with easy walking distance to Ocean Avenue where all the night life is, but far enough where you can get quiet sleep and not have to here the party until 4am. I would not rate this a 4 star, possibly 3 at best as there was no coffee maker in rooms, refrigerator, or onsite room service or dining options. The beautiful bar that is pictured was also closed (front stated it was recently bought out by a business across the street. Breakfast was continental which was charged based on what pastry, fruit, or drink you picked, but nothing exciting. They also charged $15 per night resort fee, which gets you beach towels and two chairs at the beach, no umbrella (however if you go to the beach, they charge $8 per chair for non hotel guest). The use of the chair is from 9-5, and with check in at 4pm and checkout by noon, you waste a day and it becomes a forced charge.

Friendly staff, average hotelPosted Dec 22, 2015
Our room was comfortable but very outdated and small. We hardly got any sleep during our stay as the hotel is very noisy. I wouldn't stay there agai

Nice hotelPosted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: We could take the nice stairs from the lobby and avoid the elevator. The hallways were nicely done. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The A/C was a bit noisy but tolerable.
Location: We were at a good spot in the middle of South Beach close to everything and a block to the beach.
Our suite was spacious with lots of light and a great shower.

Loved the location, just a block away from the beach. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a quick check-in, check-out. Beach chairs were included in our stay, as well as towels. Made for a very relaxing stay.

Good, will be greatPosted Nov 18, 2015
Pros: Staff, location, room and BALCONY.
Cons: Restaurant was under construction, no bar. Ice on first floor only. $15 Spa fees are mandatory, should be included in a price.
Location: Great location, close to the beach and restaurants.
Our stay was pleasant. The room was very nice, the balcony absolutely amazing. Staff is going out of the way to make the experience enjoyable.

A great place to stayPosted Nov 14, 2015 on Hotels
Our room was modern, functional, roomy, and clean -- a pleasant place to stay. the location is perfect being a quick walk to the beach and to lots of shopping and restaurants. The staff was very pleasant and good at offering tips about parking, shopping and restaurant options. They did have problems with the fire alarm going off and air conditioning not restarting -- however they handled it professionally and waived our resort fee. We would gladly stay here again.

Love the location and the hotel was awesome but wish the bar area and restaurants in the hotel was open!
