good location and quiet rooms

I stayed in Room 318 (standard room with a balcony facing Collins Ocean) for three nights with my husband and 7yo son.
The room had a king size bed, two bathrooms (one with walk-in shower) a leather sofa bed and a small kitchenette area with a microwave, sink, two small refrigerators (one filled with the hotel bar items and one empty for guest use). There is also a nespresso machine with complementary coffee provided daily.
Overall we had a pleasant stay. The furniture is a bit old and the rooms too need some renovations in terms of walls, decor and floors; the bathrooms sliding doors are awful as they don't lock properly. The shower was great but you need to make sure to close the door properly or you will flood the room! The best thing for us was that the rooms are very quiet (although the AC is pretty loud) and the location is very central as it is two blocks from the beach and at walking distance from major attractions in South Beach.
The common areas, bar, front cafe' and pool are nice, but nothing fancy. For a 4 stars hotel I was expecting more luxury. All in all this is more like a 3 stars small hotel with good service and soundproof rooms.
