Unacceptable

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. I made reservations through Expedia for one night. I did not have power in my home yet after hurricane Irma. My daughter was going back to school in 2 days. I received the Expedia confirmation. When I went to check in I was told that my reservation had been canceled because my credit card had been declined. They stated that Expedia had sent me an e-mail notifying me. I never received an e-mail and when I checked my reservation through Expedia - it was still valid and had not been canceled. I called my credit card company. They did not show a charge attempt from Expedia or the hotel. By that time, the hotel was fully booked. While I was arguing with the man at the front desk (Anthony who showed no empathy), a gentleman from North Carolina was checking in. He was told the same thing! Reservation canceled, an e-mail had been sent. He said that he never received an e-mail. Coincidence? My power ended up being restored an hour later so I saved money. But I feel bad for the man from NC who was here as part of the post Irma recovery. Shame on you Baymont.

Good location

The stay at this hotel was not a good one. The hotel shuttle drop You of at the mall and suppose to pick you back up but never came back, nobodody call or email saying it won't be coming back. I had to catch a taxi from the mall. The room was growing fungi, air condition leaks onto the rug, room stinks. The power went out for 4 days because of the storm. A big hotel like this needs to get a generator and their act together. The staff is unhappy with what there doing

I only wanted to pass the night and it was just good for that. Bathroom toilet should flush better, that would be my only recommendation .

Nice hotel for staying over for business trips

The hotel was cozy and accommodating, my really only one concern was how old is the carpet in the room, it had a funny odor and a big hole in it under the face basin, also the drawers were also broken, not useable for keeping clothing in. I was alone on a business course so it really wasn't a bother, but if I was with my family it would've been not so easy to ignore. The breakfast is just tea, coffee and pastry. I didn't utilize it, Wendy's is 2 mins away.

Just a hotel to spend a night or two. The breakfast was extremely disappointing.

Nice, good location, spacious rooms.

Pros: Location, room cleanliness, corteous service personnel, internet access
Cons: Definitely breakfast, especially more variety of warm food.
Location: Good location, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, malls fairly close.
After a rocky start, I can rate this stay as very good. The night we arrived we were assigned probably the worst room of the hotel. But the managemnt responded positively the following day with a much better room. And from there, our stay was pleasant and satisfactory. As this is probably our third or fourth stay at this hotel, I can say that the service has improved significantly. Except for breakfast, which has suffered in quality and variety. A small detail: We asked for a cork screw to open a bottle of wine, and the did not have one at the front desk!!!! A very small detail could make a big difference! Nevertheless, overall, very good stay.

Good hotel just to stay short time

Location: Location perfect in Doral to make diligences and businesses in Doral
