Economical for the Area

The pull out sofa was terrible. You could feel every spring in your back. There were no linens or blankets in room for pull out sofa. Front desk didn't mention we needed to sign out cooking stuff. Inconvenience. Staff was friendly but slow to bring us sheets, blanket. Things could improve, but I would try a 2nd stay with you.

A lot of humidity, the floor was always wet

Pros: Location and a new building
Cons: Eliminate the humidity, and get better quality of towels
Very nice facility but The entire studio floor was always wet, too much humidity. The towels were bad quality leaving white peaces of cotton all over.

Not so good

The key for our room did not work. We had to go 3 times to front desk before they changed our room. No help was offered at any time. When we were given the second room, the key worked but the handle came off. ( we managed to go in) Also, The sleeper sofa's fitted sheet was dirty and had no other sheets to cover my lil sisters over the night. We had to go back to get a clean fitted sheet. The sleeper sofa was also very uncomfortable. The sofa was advertised two fit two. Well, it is a twin bed so only one person can fit. I will recommend wearing shoes when walking on the carpet because it feels dirty. ( the carpet looked clean though). I almost forgot the ligh!!! The light for the room did not work so we had two use the two nigh lamps next to the bed instead. We also didn't feel as save as in other hotels. There was a person sleeping in his car on the hotels' parking lote. Beer cans on the parking lote. also, when we arrived a guest was fitghting at the front desk because a package had been delivered for him at front desk over 4 hours ago and the receptionist said he did not have it. That he was the one on duty when the package was said to had arrived but that he did not see or received anything. Since the guest was very upset and had been complaining for a while they finally went to the back and the guest found his package... At least it was only a few hours I needed the room before my flight... I will not be staying there again...

Only there for a nap between delayed flights

The towels were dirty and there was no trash can in the room. Remote didn't work. Luckily I was only there from 12-4am.

The hotel smell like smoke. They did not offer shuttle service from airport to hotel. I did not know the rooms were outside didn't feel safe. The room felt out dated. For the amount of money I paid I expected better rooms. Wanted to change hotels but Expedia told me I couldn't it was too late. Bad experience and very much disappointed

It was ok, to much traffic in the area

I want to suggest getting more channels on cable. It was nothing to watch, maybe lifetime or some type of Christian TV.

Great hotel great price

Stayed about 3 weeks at this hotel and it was honestly the best deal around. The hotel was clean, the staff was super accommodating and parking was good. The staff really cares about customer service, any small issue I had they quickly delt with.

Nasty

Stay away from this hotel!! Non smoking rooms dont exist.. dirty bathrooms and noisy outside.. will never come back..

It is not what they advertise.

The hotel room were not really clean, dirty towels, no elevator, etc. I stayed there because they advertised free breakfast. I got a surprise in the morning, they offered me coffee and a muffin.( That's it). No real breakfast.

Blue Lagoon in June 2017

I really like Miami Blue Lagoon. However, the carpet this time was very dirty and the service was not good. The dishes I asked for were not delivered. The first two days there was a distinct smell of old smoke in the room. The shower curtain had ugly stains on it. To get breakfast was far to walk and of course, one third of the way did not have rain coverage. You are told that breakfast is served 6:30 to 9:30am, but if you came at about 8:45 you were lucky to still find coffee, coffee cups, and muffins. By 9:00 you could not find cups, only hot water and instant decaf coffee, a few oatmeal cereals, and some breakfast bars. I really like this extended stay America for its location, but this time I was disappointed with the cleanliness and service. FW
