Noisy.

The walls are very thin. I was woken for the noise of the person snoring next to me. The hotel is also in the flight path of Miami International. All night long I could hear in coming planes. I had the AC cranked just to try and drowned out all the outside noises. Also Because of all the international flights there were people coming and going in the halls all night. That being said he room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel close to almost everything

Good experience

We stayed 2 nights. Hotel is very accessible to the airport, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. My only suggestion would be for the Fitness Room. The fan didn't work, so it was hot in there, the treadmill was in poor shape (but the elliptical and the bike were great!) and it needs a trash receptacle. Also, the fan in the room was a bit noisy when it kicked in. No restaurant, but within walking distance of several.

The hotel was easy to access. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and even though it was close to the airport we were not bothered by plane noise.

Problems with airport shuttle service

Unlike other Holiday Inn Express hotels with airport shuttle, the Doral does not operated regularly. When I finally figured this out, I called for pick up, which took nearly an hour, since their vehicle was getting an oil change (according to them). Pick up was through a private taxi service and so I was unable to recognize the vehicle. Drive had to come looking for me. Also the shuttle service only begins at 6 am, so with a 7 am flight, it cost me $25 to taxi to the airport.

Dear Earl, Thank you for your comments. Indeed the shuttle was out last week a few hours while it was getting a routine oil change. Then we had the unfortunate luck with our second shuttle and an issue with the radiator. I understand how frustrating this might have been for you and the other guest that also had to take a taxi service to our property. Lets just say the oil change turned out to be an expensive one if I count the taxi we had to reimburse. In regards to us being the Doral area it makes us the 3rd Holiday inn Express to the MIA airport therefore due to their regulations we can only operate during selected hours. I will double check to assure that this is on the booking site. Overall, i thank you for the feedback as it will allow us to improve in the necessary things. Regards, Kenneth Cardona

Good for the price.

The staff was wonderful at this hotel. The room, bedding and towels were clean. The only issue I had was the smell. I believe the smell was the carpeting. It is in need of new carpet and paint. Otherwise, it was good.

Great accommodation, knowleable front desk receptionist, accurate and friendly a tremendous asset to the HOLIDAY INN. We are convinced and affordable.
