Close to airport

Beware, they say that there is a 24 hour shuttle, but when our flight was delayed, we were told be the hotel that it stops at midnight. Worrying needs to be changed on the website.

Convenient for the airport

Under the flight path, noisy up until 12midnight particularly on 4th floor. Breakfast good, shuttle well organized.

The stay was ok except my vehicle was hit by another customer while being parked in a marked parking spot. It was pouring down rain that morning and I get a call from the management stating I had someone blocked and they could not get out. That did not make any sence because I was parked between the lines in a parking spot. So I get out of bed walk out to my truck in the rain and there is a car hooked on the trailer ball on the back of my truck. How she hit my truck was puzzling. The police were called and we sent 3 hours getting everything settled between the girl that hit me, the police and the management. My truck was not hurt, but I guess I'm more upset because there was not anything metioned about the incoinvenence I went though and was late for my meeting. I feel the management should of at least comped my room or give me a voucher for a free stay at another Red Roof. I have stayed at many Red Roofs and found this to be the worst one.

Air conditioning unit is too old and noisy. I had to turn it off to get my sleep. Hoyel is too old. Needs remodeling and enough parking lots.

Shuttle service to airport limited to only a few p

I called the day before and no one answered phone. I called again to inform our flight would be in around 10pm and we needed to go to port at 11am. They did not mention there was limited space and all of the time slots were full. I chose Red Roof for transportation to port, which we now have to pay for. Your staff could have let me know that most of the time slots were full. Now we have to figure out how to get to port. This is not what I expected and will not stay at a Red Roof again. Website should mention limited free transportation to port.

Thanks for sharing your concerns. We do take all our cruise shuttle to the port. We have provided a computer in the middle of the lobby to make the reservation process seamless and simple. By selecting your ship and follow the prompts the computer will make a determination of the schedule. Time slots is determined only by the computer, We do transport all our guests. Thank you.

Not bad. But need put more towel on room. Parking lot inside are full. You need park outside the property and walk to hotel. At breakfast Orange juice don't taste good.

This hotel is great, nice rooms, friendly staff, free shuttle from airport to hotel, free shuttle from hotel to cruise terminal, saved us a lot of money. If you're going on a cruise and come the night before, this is the place

Ants and no air

Stacy checked us in. She was very helpful and polite. However the young guy who was at the desk in the evening was not helpful or concerned when I called to inform him of the ants in the room and the lack of air (I had booked 2 rooms, and this was a problem for both). There were ants near the sink when we first came in. We didn't initially call because there were just a few. After returning from our night out, we found ants all over the desk and dresser, in the items we left in the desk. That's when we called and was asked did we report it earlier and told there were no other rooms. I even asked for bug spray was told there was none and maintenance was not there at that time. I informed the front desk again again before leaving. Stacy said she would inform her manager so he could check it out. Other than Stacy, the experience was not the best. I would not stay in another Red Roof based on this experience.

An overnight stay en route

We are a family of 4 adults who stayed overnight at the Red Roof Miami during a long layover on the way to Grand Cayman from Manchester UK. The hotel was fairly basic but the room was clean and comfortable and was very welcome after a long day. The price was very reasonable for 4 of us and included breakfast and airport transfers. I would recommend and felt it was good value.
