Always ask for a room facing Lake Michigan. Awesome views and love the bathroom!! Comfy beds and enjoyable things to do for everyone.

Two night get away.

I work and live in down town Chicago, so my life is fast paced and hectic. I like to get away to a place I find to be somewhere slower and laid back. Happened to scroll past the Blue Chip a few times as I was looking for a hotel near St. JOSEPH Michigan and decided to pull the trigger on my stay here.

nice hotel and casino

Pros: the pool and the casino
Cons: next time if we can get a room in the blue tower with a view will be nice.
Location: everything is very close to the hotel.
very nice stay. my kids enjoy the pool very much. also the restaurant and we as adults enjoy the casino. we had a great stayed.

Thank you! Although the rooms are similar, Spa Tower rooms are available as well or you can call a reservation supervisor ahead of arrival to discuss your request. Some additional fees may apply.

Very expensive, not too friendly

Check-in was a chore, with the staff beong snooty with my wife during check-in. They would not allow her to check in without me present, which would preclude me being able to surprise her with a room/spa getaway. I guess it is important for some to smoke and gamble, and the smell travels through the hotel. The staff were not willing/able to fulfill my request for an extra pillow.

Nice hotel

Everything was great except you could hear the people in the hallway and next door really well which stunk!! Hard to get any sleep with the baby crying next door.

Very clean hotel

The rooms were very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Will stay there again.

Room was updated but cold!

Traveling on business. Michigan City was a half way point. Figured would try my luck and buffet. No luck and food at casino buffet was terrible. Got woken up middle of night people trying to get on my room. Not great experience. Bedding was not warm enough. Room updated, nice shower. Only shampoo and conditioner for toiletries, nothing else. Price was great.
