This hotel is the absolute worst place I have ever stayed.
The bed was broken, there were fleas in the room, I seriously question the actual cleanliness of the sheets and towels since there were bugs and blood stains on some of the pillows. When I told the clerk I wanted new room because this one had fleas and the bed was broken, his only concern was the bed and how it was broken; no concern of the bugs or an apology!! It appears to be a hotel for the less fortunate with several long-term residents and their cats and dogs. Questionable people walking the halls trying to solicit drugs. The only thing suitable for the breakfast other than the bananas was the individually packaged pastries, but even they were out of date. More than half of the first-floor rooms had plywood filling the spaces which used to be a glass windows and the doors were very insecure. I slept very lightly with my pistol at the ready all night.
This is one of those places the city needs to condemn and bulldoze!!
Like I said, I have stayed in some questionable and sketchy places in my many years, but this one is by far the dirtiest, most unsafe, rat holes I have ever been in. The only plus is the air conditioner kept the rooms cold and the prices were cheap. But you are not even getting what you pay for at this place.
