I love the spacious room. If you have heavy luggage, do note that you have to lug it up a flight of stairs.

Due to us being a Georgian listed building we sadly are not permitted to install a lift so most bedrooms are accessed by our staircase. Nice greeting when we arrived,our room was alright comfortable but slightly shabby.Clean though.we had a cream tea in the afternoon which really wasn’t very good at all,the scone turned to dust after I cut into it,making it almost impossible to spread anything on it. We had a good nights sleep the bed was comfortable The breakfast was disappointing,couldn’t finish my sausage Throughout our stay there was a strange smell in the building.

The wifi in the outside rooms was very poor. The bed was very comfortable, there was adequate storage for clothes etc.

The Swan is a great place to stay, conveniently located near the center of town with easy access to a laundry, an ATM, a Post Office, restaurants and shopping. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served and the pub offers light options between meals. Top ratings.

It was a lovely hotel. Maybe the restaurant could have had better service as it was slow. The floor of our room was noisy and uneven. But it was nicely located and the staff catered to my every whim. 😊

Beautiful room
Lovely clean comfortable room, beautifully decorated! Would point out that not all of the deluxe rooms have separate shower and bath as described on Hotels.com though. (shame as that was our reason for choosing a deluxe room!) Parking onsite and we were able to check in early. Comfortable bars and dining room. Unfortunately our dinner booking was not recorded and we were told the kitchen was closing when we went down, this made us feel uncomfortable and rushed with our meal. Food and service were excellent though. Very good breakfast - good choices on the menu although limited continental options - no croissants that day. We had a lovely stay and would have stayed longer if we could!

Very pleasant hotel close to town.
Lovely dining room and garden. Dinner was very good with excellent service. Breakfast was a little disappointing but would still go back there.

The room was comfortable and warm. Enough space to relax. Good shower but the bath was a little uncomfortable - too big! Very helpful staff. The TV system is not linked to the internet so can't get netflix, firestick, on demand or catch up.

We'll be back!
Lovely comfortable room (even with the heat!) with an incredible view. Beer garden was a great space to have a drink in. All the staff we met were so helpful, a real credit to the Swan. Only negative was the price of food was a bit high but I appreciate costs of ingredients are probably huge nowadays with inflation...

The staff were very helpful and the food was good value. My only problem was the stairs to the room there were too many but that is just my arthritic knees!! I was just about to go up and a member of staff ran over and carried my case up. Staff were excellent
