Lovely room

Posted Aug 24, 2017
We stayed in the new annex area. Loved the outside entrance and they were very accommodating given the fact we had young children. They also brought a microwave so we could heat milk. I would definitely stay again

Great staff - they were friendly and helpful. The bathroom was recently renovated and overall the room was very nice. Restaurant and bar in the hotel and very close to the main street in Middlebury. I'll definitely be back!

Right in town

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: I like that the Middlebury Inn is in walking distance of down town restaurants and local activities.
Location: Restaurants, walking paths, shopping, visit Otter Creek Brewing, the Shelburne Museum, wineries and so much more !!
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Middlebury Inn and I will most definitely be back when visiting family in the area! My room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly and the hotel beautifully quaint. Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

Well, if you visited the Shelburne Museum and Otter Creek Brewing, you picked my two favorite stops. Thanks for your kind words

Pros: Location
Cons: Sheets
Everything was fine, could upgrade their sheets. Almost looked like someone slept in them.

Well I certainly hope not - we do not iron our sheets like some larger hotels do, but I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with this aspect of your stay.

Best stay ever!

Posted Jul 17, 2017
Pros: Friendly and professional staff, clean room, and the food was excellent.
Cons: A gym (only if it's possible).
Location: I really enjoyed the restaurants, the museums, and the Middlebury Festival on the Green which happens every July.
If I were to come back to Middlebury, I would definietly choose this Hotel again. It was an amazing experience. I felt like I travelled back in time into another century while staying there. I felt that was really cool.

We enjoyed our stay at the Middlebury Inn. The location is perfect and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch during tea time.

Our veranda is one of the not so secret gems of the Middlebury Inn. Nothing better than a meal or cocktail overlooking the town green and traffic on Rt 7. Thanks for commenting.

Great Historical Hotel

Posted Jul 5, 2017
What a neat hotel! Great dinner and breakfast. No need to shop for a chain. Lots of shops within walking distance. Wish I had time for their spa!

Dog Friendly Room

Posted Jul 1, 2017
The dog friendly rooms are out back in the parking lot with no appeal whatsoever. our room was all the way to the left as you face front of hotel. it smelled terrible of dogs and we were travelli g with a 5 pound yorkie. get what you get - so we didnt get upset - but we would not stay there again.

We're sorry that you didn't find our pet friendly rooms all that friendly. We feel that we do an extra special job preparing these rooms for pets and their masters and all of the rooms are very recently renovated. Again, I apologize.

Thank you for your nice comment. As an old historic building we struggle to find space and outlets for coffee makers, but we're working on it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Enjoyed my stay! The room was clean and comfortable. Though not cheap it was reasonable. Not impressed by the free morning coffee.
