1. Nature Escape - studio in the forest

Middletown

“Our dogs were able to stay with us which was the greatest amenity! We needed to book a place quickly due to a family member’s fast approaching wedding. Traveling from Maine was too long of a trip to leave the pets at home. The cabin is super cute, but felt like it could have been a little cleaner. It was tidy and picked up but a few things were missed ( like the mirror in the bathroom had some splatters on it) This could have could have been due to our request for an early arrival, but since……

12. Secluded Luxury Cabin Surrounded by Nature - Fernwood Lodge

Glen Spey

“This place looks even better than what we have seen from the pictures. Everything within the property was very well maintained, organized and cozy. Paul and Chuck put a lot of hard work and love into this place. They included everything that was needed for a comfortable stay in an outdoors cabin, even things you wouldn't have considered in the first place. We were searching for a place to take a break from the city's atmosphere(the sound, the people, etc) and this place answered our needs for……

13. Rivers Ledge Cabin with Sauna and Hot Tub

Barrville

“The location and view are amazing. Truly beautiful. The endless firewood and materials to be able to make the fires and sauna hot was appreciated. In the kitchen, there is an ant problem. Had to kill a bunch. Some areas of the home were clean and some weren’t. Bugs left on window sills and spider webs in corners. Not sure when it was last vacuumed (that’s what it seemed like.) We enjoyed the stay with a few things that I had wished were a little more tidy especially for the price.”

15. perfect studio, few minutes away to the heart of new Paltz & Mohonk Mountain

New Paltz

“When we arrived at the house, we unpacked and within a few minutes, we smelled something that smelled like sewer gas in the bathroom. The owners came over and accused us of pouring something down the drain to get out of paying them. We could not stay in the house it smelled so bad and they would not refund our money. VRBO took their side! This was a horrific experience. I hope they get the sewer smell figured out. I just wanted to visit my daughter and this turned into a nightmare. I understand……

17. Entire Cabin - Modern A-Frame w/Hot Tub

“Absolutely loved this place! It perfectly blends charm with luxurious comfort. From the moment we arrived, the thoughtful touches and attention to detail made it feel warm, inviting, and like a true home away from home.My favorite feature was the upstairs loft—it became my cozy retreat for relaxing with a book and taking in the peaceful surroundings. My husband thoroughly enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub, which was the perfect way to end each day.Nestled in a secluded wooded setting, this cabin……
