The room is ok. But after we went to sleep, someone pull the fire alarm or something. The alarm sounds for a few seconds and then went away. It didn't last long but enough to wake us up. Also after some time, there're some people talking in the hall way loud. It sounds like some people drink a lot. The staff is not friendly. We booked the room with breakfast included. Then when we went there for breakfast, the lady told us kids can only order from the menu otherwise they need to pay. OK then I ordered 3 items from the menu. I told her that's for each kid. But when another lady brought what we ordered, she told me there're were two items out the of 3 that each kid can only choose one. But when don't the lady tell me at the time of order? I don't understand why any place need to make it so complicated for a kid breakfast. I travels a quite often and I have to tell you this is a wired place. How much money are they trying to make from the kid breakfast?

Thank you for taking the time to bring this situation to light. We have a long profound history of kids stay free and eat free that has been the foundation of our brand. Kemmons Wilson, our founder, entrepreneur, and enthusiast for life, is best known for creating the hotel chain, Holiday Inn. After he and his wife Dorothy spent a summer vacation in 1951 driving out to Washington, D.C. where they experienced inconsistent accommodations and were charged for each of their five children to stay in the room with them, Kemmons came home determined. He vowed to create a chain of hotels with standards like ice machines, on-site dining, swimming pools and all kids would stay and eat for free. He wanted a chain that would encourage families to vacation together. Family was most important to the two of them. Almost exactly a year after the infamous vacation, Kemmons established the first Holiday Inn on Summer Avenue on August 1, 1952 in Memphis, TN. We find these standards at ALL Holiday Inns around the world. For every paying adult a kids meal is free. We strive to "WoW" our guests and we currently have a NEW Chef, so we intend to continue to live up to Kemmons Wilson standard of family values. We look forward to providing your family with our "WoW" service in the near future.
