Good place to stayPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Location, service, cleanliness, good maintenance.
Location: On north side of Midland near restaurants and shopping.
We were in Midland visiting family and used the hotel as our base. Staff was courteous and efficient. Breakfast was good. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location was very convenient for our purposes.

Hotel is ok, not very clean.Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: Friendliness of the staff, location was nice for where my meeting was, although nothing is very far from anything in Midland. Felt safe enough.
Cons: Maid service needs to step up their game. Not all of the guests are oilfield hands that come in so exhausted all they see is a pillow.
Location: There's a wine bar in walking distance from hotel and a couple other restaurants also.
Obviously a hotel frequented by oilfield hands (as are most in the M/O area). Staff was very friendly, the outside and lobby area of the hotel were in good condition and seemed clean (didn't spend much time in lobby, but it appeared clean). However my room on the 2nd floor wasn't clean. Sticky cup rings/ spills on the night stand, hair in the shower, the sofa was broken ( I didn't sit on it, I actually never do in hotels ) but it had a severe lean to it like it was missing both legs on the right side. I tried not to look much deeper, because I did actually want to be able to get some sleep for my meeting the next day. However I slept in a long sleeved shirt, pants and socks.

Nice PlacePosted Oct 20, 2014
We stayed on a weekend so there was no oil field traffic to speak of. The night shift lady was very friendly and made us feel welcome. Sunday breakfast was good and the area very clean. You would not think this is usually busy with oil field folks. We will schedule this hotel again.

Fire alarm wake up call,,,,,No water...Posted Feb 5, 2014
All was great. Friendly staff. Quite room. Three false fire alarms in the morning and no water for morning shower was the only negative of our stay. A courtesy call or check up would be advised. Great breakfest in the morning made all thing better.

Very pleasant staff, nice accomodations, worth itPosted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: It is very clean and well taken care of.
Cons: The only thing about my room that was even remotely negative was that the bed was somewhat uncomfortable (for me it was too hard).
Location: Abuelo's (mexican food) is in walking distance. Good food and good bar. Shogun's is also in walking distance, decent sushi.
I checked in late on Sunday night Oct 6 and stayed three nights. The staff was very accomodating and professional. The room was above my expectations. The only maintenance issues I noticed in my room were a cracked tile in the bathroom and a missing lightbulb in the reading lamp. Neither of these were significant enough to bother me. The room quality and value overall was excellent.
