Great stay; only issue was room temperature. It hovered around 74. Tried to lower it to 68, but it immediately jumped back up. Staff tried to fix as well without success. Not a huge issue and as it was over Xmas, staff was limited. Will definitely return.

Great Hotel at a Fair Price
We stayed at the SpringHill Suites in Midland, MI. for 3 nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was adequate (if standard fare), offering both hot and cold options. The beds were comfortable, and the pool clean. It was reasonably-priced. So, what’s not to like? The hot breakfast items need to be changed up…eggs one day, pancakes the next, bacon one day, sausage the next, etc. We both agree that we will stay there again, when in Midland.

Was really disappointed in this location. We travel a lot and for all the Springhill Suites we have stayed at, this one was not up to standards at all. I feel like it definitely could have been cleaner. Upon arrival, getting in the room, the carpets were wet. I’m front of the mini fridge was really wet. When the carpet dried it was sticky(took 2 days to dry). Shampoo/Conditioner was not refilled when room was cleaned. Ended up running out of it and having to ask for it to be filled. Breakfast wasn’t much at all(scrambled eggs and sausage every day or oatmeal) The waffle maker only came out on Saturday and Sunday. Wallpaper in room was bubbling off the walls. Stain in the bottom of the tub. Definitely not what I would have expected with the name. I would not stay here again for that price. The gentleman at check in was nice and welcoming.

The Hotel was nice and clean. However, this was my first experience with this hotel. I rarely ever get to enjoy a hotel so I paid $250 for a King Suite. Without telling me, they gave me a handicapped room. I’m just confused. I just wish they would have at least told me. I had to go down to the lobby and ask why I didn’t get the King Suite I paid for. And she simply told me that their King Suites were “sold out for the night” but that they were “the same price” and it was “the same thing”. My only comment on this is if it says a room is available and let’s you pay for it. Then you should be getting what room you chose. And on top of that they charged an additional $20 when checking-in.

A perfect stay in Midland
Whenever I visit Midland, I stay at this hotel. It is perfect ... excellent location (quiet, easy in/out), decent breakfast, clean room, no scents in the room, cordial staff. No negatives at all. I really recommend it.

We had peeling paint in the room and a broken window. There was a large clump of hair on the floor in the bathroom. The lighting in the room was not very good.

Loved the family room and hot breakfast was appreciated by all. Nobody answering my call on front desk for 35 minutes (i was calling to let them know we were running late) was strange for a Marriott. Also when we arrived there was nobody at the front desk and we were waiting for 4 to 5 mins for someone to turn up. Wpuld still stay here again as location is great.

The couch could use a good wash; it had stains on it. Also, you should update your food pictures as breakfast was bad and didn’t have the items showing in pictures. Otherwise, would recommend.
