Nice hotel close to airport and shopping

inexpensive, relatively spacious but weird room

The room was fine, aside from having a window between the sleeping area and the bathroom. The window had translucent shutters so we could (somewhat) close the bathroom off from the beds, but I am not a fan of the open bathroom. The toilet area was partially blocked by a wall, but from the bedroom we could still see too much of the person using the toilet. Aside from this lack of privacy, the room was very comfortable.

Very nice hotel.Rooms greAt. Good parking. Only problem is it was hard to find hotel because it is actually beside a mall.

Hotel Dimond Center

Pros: Beautiful room, great bathroom
Cons: The biscuits at breakfast were hard as concrete. The waffles were great though.
Location: It is near the Dimond Center shopping mall, Sam's and Walmart.
The room was spacious, beautiful and very clean. I love the bathroom with the large soaking tub. It is close to the mall and Walmart, if you need to go shopping. I also appreciated the free airport pickup and drop-off. That was so helpful for weary travelers. Good hot breakfast included.

Worst stay ever

Cons: Everything - hotel staff is rude and not helpful. Worst ever.
Myself, my wife and my two children stayed this past Friday the 14th. Our room had no A/C - we called down to ask if someone could look at it and were told no one could, but eventually they said they could bring us a fan since no other rooms were available. An hour goes by and no one comes - we call back and they state the fan will be there shortly. Another half an hour and nothing - call back and they say the guy went to the airport but will bring it by shortly - finally he comes by, just drops fan at the door and leaves. The room was very hot, the fan did nothing but make loud noise, so no one could sleep. It was a miserable night,and the poor kids were so tired, the flights home the next day were horrible. The front desk stated the manager would call us Monday to rectify the situation - that was almost a week ago and no one has called. I have emailed and called the hotel with no results. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my day, this was by far the worst experience ever and I will not be back and will make sure to let as many people as possible know about my experience.

Property has gotten some updates with furniture and on-site restaurant. Miss having a comfortable chair to sit in in the room. Staff is absolutely wonderful!

Decent Hotel!

Pros: Close to the airport and downtown, comfortable room
Cons: black out curtains!!!!! :)
Location: It's in a mall parking lot, close to downtown with lots of tourist shop stuff, close to the airport for other touristy stuff to do like flight seeing
Enjoyed our stay with the exception of the bright 'midnight sun' coming thru the curtains. The breakfast was just right, the staff was awesome and everything else was great.

Value of a stay

Pros: Location was great
Cons: Cleaning
Location: Near Mall, and Walmart.
The cost of a stay at this hotel is over priced for what is provided. They act like calling it an extended stay is suppose to justify not cleaning the room each day, yet they charge more than a typical hotel of equal quality, and the lobby bath rooms were horribly dirty and no soap in the hand cleaning stations, NONE. (makes you wonder how the kitchen staff cleans their hands.

Fraud charges but slow response

This hotel charged me extra $669 when I checkin on 7/2, they said they will refund me this double charge in 7 business days. Expedia service also said I need to wait. But on 7/10, there was another charge $529 on my account again, this time I even did not go or check-in at the hotel! Total $1198 is taken from my account, but both Expedia and the hotel have no ideas what's going on...so exhausted to explain between Expedia and the hotel, and so disappointed. This also shows credit card saving in Expedia seems not safe, I already deleted all card information here. Now I can only ask my bank to try to take this $1198 back...
