Anniversary stay

Hotel stay was nice. Breakfast was good. Staff was super friendly. We got a hotel for our anniversary but mainly to go swimming in the pool. The pool was so cold and small. The hot tub water looked gross. So we left after 5 min. Tried the jacuzzi tub in our room and it didn’t work. There was mold in the nobs. But everything else was great!

Nice stay once again

I have stayed at this location three to four times over the past decade. Always a nice stay. Rates had fallen as offseason had arrived in Alaska so affordable. Check in was a breeze with pleasant staff. Room was well maintained though the air-con was noisy at times. Would definitely stay here again.

shower issues, night shade issues, friendly staff, but still a hassle for our short stay

Breakfast was a terrible experience.

Ran out of food at breakfast and didn't put any more out. Waffles to be more specific. Towels should be replaced with fresh, bright, white ones. The ones we had were one good bath away from being "dingy." To be clear, they weren't dingy but getting close. Room was good, fairly dated, but well maintained. Has no issues with cleanliness. Over priced for sure (summer months). All things considered, I would recommend staying, as I would stay again. Staff was nice and helpful.

I am aware that the day you are referencing we did run out of waffle mix. Running out of food rarely happens but in this case we did and we were not able to order any for that day through our supplier. I am very grateful that given the breakfast experience you would still recommend staying here and would stay here yourself. We hope to welcome you back in the near future.

okay for an overnite stay.....

Hotel employees were great; however, the hotel itself is in need of an update. This was the worst breakfast I've ever had at a Hampton's. It is also hard to find.
