"Wonderful 'old grande dame'. Ambience +!"
We had a great experience, reminiscent of the classic movies and books. Everyone ( bar one ) was helpful congeniel and appeared to truly want to make our visit special. Our only hitch was the room service person who was negligent in delivering the ice ( over one hour), then tried to say we had told him we had NOT ordered ice just a few minutes before, entered the room with a scowl, and a 'look of displeasure' at my sister, both the only residents in the room, and neither of whom had received a knock, or had answered the door prior. It was a little unpleasant, but EVERYONE else was lovely and VERY helpful, so we had a great stay. Thank you.
