"W Hotel Lexington Ave"
I've stayed here twice before, maybe three times. It's convenient for me, a former New Yorker with the knowledge and ease of getting around to all areas. Whether by subway, bus or walking. Lexington Avenue bus line across the street. Third Avenue Bus Line, one block east. Subway one block north. Grand Central Station 7 blocks south. There's a Grand Central Market, which houses a mini supermarket/coffee/good eats. Starbucks, 4 of them, within 7 blocks. Besides other coffee/danish venues. Hotel seems like they've renovated recently. Great as usual. Hip and Young ambiance. Whiskey Blue, W's signature bar/lounge. The Fitness Center is located on the 4th floor. Seems like all new equipment, plus punching bag. The speed bag seemed deflated and awkwardly positioned. My room was cleaned, compact and comfortable. But because there was a "heatwave" during Thanksgiving this time around, I wish I could've turned on the air conditioner. But the thermostat was preset between 65 and 70 degrees. Otherwise, accessible staff, clean facility. Great stay.
