Great Midtown Location

Very pleased with the hotel! It is centrally located and close to many landmarks. Hotel staff are professional and very knowledgeable. The room was spacious, confortable and clean. I will definitely come back!

Disappointing. We spent $800/night and we had less towels then the amount of people in the room, dirty glasses, and very uncomfortable beds. We called the service desk for more towels and clean classes 3 times over the span of 3 hours as they were not coming. We made a formal complaint with the manager and she advised that we will be getting a 25% discount from Expedia, which i am still waiting for.....

Great location but, front desk is not pleasant they have this “whatever attitude” didn’t even ask how I was doing when we checked in. didn’t ask how my stay was when we left they just asked me if I had issues with my billing I said no they took the room keys and said bye, just like that. terrible. Didn’t feel welcome at all! Housekeeping was good. sweet ladies gave me what I needed plus more, no issue there. Will not stay there again I’ll rather pay a few dollars more and stay somewhere else.

Pros: Location was good
Cons: Get rid of the woman at the concierge desk Be prepared for the number of guests you book
We were taken in by the concierge to buy tickets from her for the Empire State Building. She informed me we would save so much time. In fact, all she sold me was a voucher which had to be redeemed in a special room with a huge line up of people trying to sort out bus tour mix ups. I booked this hotel because they would accommodate 5 people. I had two young children with me and when it came tiime for bed (a very late bedtime because of the ticket mix up) the pull out was not made up. I was informed by the desk that they only do that if you call. When you accept a booking for five should the room not be made up for five?

We travel to NY once a year typically we find the hotel staff to be very accommodating however on this occasion the front desk staff was extremely rude and condescending. Upon arrival we were informed that despite booking a king bed with sofa bed we were not guaranteed to get one and that we were lucky she was observant and could see we had three adults per room and was willing to give us the room we booked because it was not guaranteed. When I asked how this was possible when I disclosed all the details of our party when booking she responded that I needed to relax and not get upset about it because there were no guarantees and she was informing me of this fact up front. What the point in that was I am still not sure other than being plain rude. We had two more encounters with this same woman and same thing she was just rude. Prior to arriving at the hotel that morning I called and asked for either adjoining rooms or at least on the same floor I was told that they didn’t have adjoining rooms for our style room but that they would put us on the same floor at least. We got there and the lady that was doing me a “favor” by giving me the sofa bed we had paid for told me that there was no note in the system furthermore they didn’t make those types of arrangements so she was unsure why they even said they would. Maria of the front desk staff was who I had been dealing with prior to check in and she was wonderful! Very professional, pleasant and accommodating.

Check In Lady was rude!

Paid over $500 a night, your room should be ready at check in. Ours was 1 1/2 late. Front desk lady was rude! I stay in hotels a lot for sports. Usually, front desk people are pleasant and make the hotel acceptable no matter what happens. This lady was horrible!

It's Christmas in New York!

Pros: The staff was very pleasant.
Cons: Upkeep and maintenance.
Location: It's New York City, walk. The United Nations isn't too far and the East River is a fun, busy site.
It's that time of year when everyone is headed to New York to shop, see the tree, maybe skate at Rockefeller Center or ride the decked out horses in Central Park so prices go up and values down. This hotel is okay but I wouldn't return.

Access could go to various places well. Advantage convenience was also good for breakfast within the walking range next a supermarket for 24 hours.
