excellent, big rooms, nice location, the staff was very nice
The location is fantastic to use as a base to explore New York. It was clean and the staff were helpful. We had a recently decorated room so it was very fresh. The hotel is still going through renovation so some areas were still being decorated. Great place to stay.
Spent a long weekend for our 40th Anniversary. We were treated royally. The room was very special, the buffet breakfast in the Executive Lounge was the best we have ever seen in a hotel, and your people were excellent in every department. We will be back a lot more often.
Very comfortable rooms, attentive staff, great location
Beautiful hotel and an incredible location. Helpful staff and wonderful facilities!
The room was a little smaller than expected, had no view. However, the room was clean, and very, very quite. I really appreciated how quite the room was!
Good location close to everything, would come back again.

The room was clean and well spaced out, we were walking distance to all that we needed. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was really good.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the Gallivant. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth, quick, and easy. I loved how close the hotel was to everything I wanted - Times Square, theater, shopping, dining. The room was fantastic. The staff was friendly. I also loved that check-out wasn't until noon. ...
Been staying here for 10 years. Love the nastalgia of an old NYC hotel.
Excellent hotel, big rooms and very comfortable. Near subways, theater and bars.
My 86 year old father and I decided to make a quick trip to NYNY to attend a special concert at Carnegie Hall on a Friday night and return home the next day, so needed a room for one night close to the concert hall, for a reasonable rate. The Salisbury hit the mark. The hotel is old and must be a ...
Very quiet in a busy area. If you have to stay at Times Square this is the place to be
Friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed, one block from Times Square
place was local to district...easy walking distance
I have stayed here several times and am always happy. The rooms are large, the location is excellent, and they give discounts on parking in the garage next door. Highly recommend.
Mayfair is a very small, older hotel. It has a very small elevator and the stairs are close but fairly steep. The rooms are typical in size but the bathroom had been modernized and was more than adequate. The staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. But the location is what makes this an excellent ...
