Quit, affordable and comfy

Posted Nov 12, 2017
I spent a week there for my vacation and I loved it! Staff were great, hotel guests were polite and I slept like the dead. I highly recommend this hotel. There's a kitchenette in every room and there is a laundry room on the first floor!

Switched rooms to more problems

Posted Oct 24, 2017
Pros: Not much
The room that they gave us had a fire alarm that the battery had died, so every minute it would beep. I called the front office and a guy came down to check it. He said that he had no batteries and that he would move us to another room. The second room had the fire alarm hanging down from the ceiling (evidently a customer fixed the beeping himself). The room was hot and humid. The reason was the hot water in the bathtub was coming out more than just a drip. You couldn't turn it off. So we kept the bathroom door shut and turned on the air conditioning (this was middle of October, so it was cool outside). Hopefully they will get their fire alarms working correctly.

Only problem is the manager

Posted Oct 23, 2017
The facility and most of the staff were fine, but our first impression was tainted by Cyrus, the night manager (I assume). Upon arriving at 11:30 PM, his first words to us were “You can’t check-in!” Not even a “welcome” or “hello” - quite a rude introduction to the facility. Apparently, even though Expedia says we can check in until midnight on the confirmation, this property closes out check-in at 11:00. The staff must be under a strict deadline because the whole time we were at the counter, Cyrus was more attentive to his paperwork than his customer. Everything else with our stay there was fine., but I doubt we will return to this hotel because of the rude check-in treatment. By the way, every person staying in the room has to have a picture ID. This was the first time both my wife and I had to have our drivers licenses copied to check in to a hotel. Cyrus explained it was because there’s a two burner cooktop in the room. Go figure!

Nice place to stay not far from the airport

Posted Oct 8, 2017
Pros: The price mostly, but it does not come off as cheap. I felt like I received a good value.
Cons: You have to make a u turn to get in to the driveway from the direction of travel from the airport.
Very nice view, and located near restaurants and within a reasonable distance from the airport.

Good value but some strange choices....

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Pros: Reasonably clean and comfortable, good value.
Cons: Please stock the room properly and arrange the furniture/wall hangings in a logical way.
Location: Plenty of nearby convenience shopping (Walmart, etc) and places to eat.
Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2017. The hotel is reasonably clean and comfortable, however some things are just missing - especially in an "extended stay" facility. The room is not equipped with ANY dishes, pans, silverware - literally nothing. There's a kitchenette with a 2-burner stove and sink, yet the hotel wants you to ASK for the pots, dishes, etc. I did go to the front desk for 2 dishes at one point and they were just handed to me (a card in the room also states they will deliver whatever you request), but still - why must I ask for this stuff? Also missing: Hair conditioner (shampoo provided, but no conditioner) and lotion. I mean, even a Motel 6 provides this stuff, and my girlfriend noticed the items missing immediately (she loves her lotions!). Also not in the room; a valet stand for a suitcase. I had to put my bag on the table instead. None of this is a big deal, but it's all just very odd. The room itself is also a bit strange; it's obvious it had be rearranged or furniture swapped, but some things didn't make sense. The TV is on a large, tall dresser, but there's a framed mirror on the wall that's halfway behind the TV and dresser. As though there used to be a shorter dresser in that location that was removed, but they never moved the mirror? Just weird. And the fluorescent lighting everywhere is awful. Even the bedside lights have fluorescents. I get the point of saving energy, but please give me some warm LEDs instead.

Not much to say. It was cheap and we found out their was a reason for that. Other than a complimentary soap bar, they had a vending machine where you could buy everything else you needed. I like that stuff to be included In the cost.
