Great place to rest your head!

This is not a new hotel, however, the rooms have had some updating. Everything was clean and well placed for occupancy. The hotel itself is INCREDIBLY close to shopping and freeway access. And the staff, exemplary. With last minute bookings and changes to our plans, the hotel staff made it possible for us to not have to check out or move to another room. And when we left items behind...they called me! I was so impressed!!

Close too Salt Lake City

La Quinta was a great place to stay after spending our day in Salt Lake City. They were also very accommodating with the two little kids we had with us.

Not as expected

The staff was great, the location was good. Our room looked clean but smelled dirty. I don't think I'll be staying at this location again.

Terrible

I reserved the room a day before I would arrive as I was driving 4 hours to get to the hotel. I called 3 separate times to confirm that me arriving late for check in wouldn't be an issue and as the staff told me, it would be just fine. Once I arrived to the hotel, they had given my room to someone else and I was unable to find a hotel the entire night and was forced to sleep in my car outside of McDonalds. I'm sure the hotel itself isn't bad, I'm just furious that they would promise me a room and then give it away. NOT cool LA Quinta. I will not be back.

Nice but not worth the price.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. My daughter has many health challenges and we decided a get a way where we could relax, work on school work, get some extra sleep and swim a pool would be a nice break. However, we found this to not be the case. The room itself was fine. It was small but fit our needs. However the carpet had gum stuck on it which we stepped on and the bathroom door was filthy. The pool area was dungeon like, not well lit and the pool was freezing cold and so we weren't able to swim, which my daughter had looked forward to. Also, we were woken each morning at 8am by housekeeping. They are so loud each morning talking back and forth. They woke us each morning asking to clean our room which we were still in our pajamas. If you're a light sleeper, don't stay here. You can hear almost everything. We could here keys jingling in pockets as people walked past our room, the cat meowing in the room next door and every word spoken outside near our room. It was as if they were in the room with us. Wish our weekend was a bit more relaxing.

Nice hotel, close to stores & restaurants. A

Pros: Everything was great.
Cons: The pillows on the bed were lumpy. I will take my own on the next trip.
Location: We love to shop and there is a Sam's Club close and many others stores to visit.
A great place to stay. Reasonably priced, good amenities, easy access, a great staff, and the room was great. They have a wonderful selection for breakfast.

Close to highway. Easy stay passing through town. Dog friendly spot that doesn’t charge for dogs!
