happy farmers are always welcome

never thought that in the 21st century a 3 star wouldn't have a private bathroom. so, surprise, if you need one, pay a little extra. the hotel itsel is picturesque: it's an old, cold, non renovated, very big barn, filled with small sheds, disguised as accommodations for the guests. we didn't like it. but it's a personal opinion. we've been told that the best use of those, it's for co-workers team building, where people can happily work together like real farmers. and of course pay for it like it was a 4 star. of note, and this is serious, is the kindness of the landlord, whi somehow eased the pain

The (cheapest- in- the- area-) rooms on the first floor have 6 separate small rooms with showers and toilets, as we were not allowed to change the rooms on the first floor. However (you are right) , for a little bit more money you have a family room downstairs with private bathroom, kitchenette, terrace etc.
Besides the B&B there is in the barn a small indoor-village with 8 cottages (kind of indoor - camping cold these days "glamping", used by groups and with low cost sleeping ( of € 18,50 per night) fully selfservice with huge kitchen and lounge.
