Definitely a go :)Posted Dec 18, 2017
Cons: mattress of beds, ours was making bad noises
Hotel next to Piazza della Republica, just 3-4 stops by tram (20mins by foot) to Teatro alla Scala and all other major attractions. Good value for the money. Our room seemed to be little tired (old) but had a nice view over the street.Breakfast was not fancy, but the essentials. Good restaurants and bars just next door.

A one night stay for the Leather FairPosted Oct 5, 2017 on Hotels
This was a one night stay for the first day of an exhibition at the new fiera site. I had stayed at the hotel before so I knew what to expect; the room and breakfast are basic, but adequate; the price was reasonable compared to others quoted; the location is good - about 10 minutes or so walk from Central Station; there are some good and reasonably priced restaurants close by - my favourite is Dal Baffo a few blocks away; and Republica suburban rail station, which is a few minutes walk away give a fast route to the fairground.
Old & datedPosted Oct 4, 2017 on Hotels
I guess the level of hotel is reflected in the 2 star rating but this seems like a hostel or boarding house rather than a hotel. Old, dated & very basic down the hall & also in the room. Walls need good clean & paint. Room very small, steep stairs from front door up to reception.

very basic hotelPosted Aug 16, 2017
Pros: nice places to eat withing walking distance
Location: nice places to eat withing walking distance (10-15). Close to public transport - with few options available to get around Milan.
Casa Mia is a very basic hotel, with basic facilities. the hotel is ok if you are just looking for somewhere to crash for a few hours while exploring Milan. The best thing i found was that it is close to Joia restaurant (Michelin star) .
