Basic place to stay, but clean and functional

This is a basic but clean place to base yourself for a few days in Milan. It is within walking distance of the central train station, which is definitely a good thing. The staff are friendly, and the price is right. Downstairs is a cafe where you get your breakfast in the morning (coffee, juice, croissant). You also get a 20% discount on food if you want to eat there at other times.
It was fine for our purposes, as we were only there for two nights. The room we had was tiny. But functional. There was a bit of noise both outside and upstairs and the room beside us. So bringing a set of ear plugs would be recommended.
There is a place to store your bags once you check out, which we found helpful.
Overall a good place for a short stay, particularly if you need to get to or from the train station.
