Simple & nice hotel near Metro StationPosted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: I believe everything was alright from location, security of the hotel and the staff members.
Cons: We haven't noticed anything abnormal.
Location: It is exactly located near Metro station and Carrefour supermarket is exactly other side of the road, though ice-cream shop is near to hotel.
Brenta Milano hotel is very simple and nice hotel and staff members were nice and friendly, especially, the receptionist and the young man. We stayed there twice, once for 5 days and the other time for 2 nights and we really enjoyed staying there. The hotel is secured by camera. Breakfast was so simple though it was good and fresh. The room is big and has a large private bathroom.

*Scandalous racist service*Posted Jul 12, 2015 on Hotels
I've travelled the entire world and must have stayed at 500+ hotels. This has been my worst experience of them all. At our first breakfeast (terrible btw) I asked for some fresh mortadella which prompted an extremely rude response from the manager/owner. She said it was fresh, touched every piece and even ate some right in front of me. Her touching it, didn't help and I repeated my request. To this she replied that we should look up mortadella on wikipedia, because it could stay outside for 20 hours easy, and besides the mortadella was in a fridge. "I know about mortadella, I am from Italy, are you kidding me," she said. I replied that she could then look up fridge, because "in Denmark where I am from a fridge is closed and not an open cooling tray." This prompted the manager/owner to leave for a minute come back and tell my boyfriend, that he may be from Denmark, but I certainly was not! (I am of vietnameese origin so I don't look Danish, all though I was born and grew up in Denmark). My boyfriend, ofcourse, became upset and asked what the relevance of the comment was, and asked how she could be the hotel manager/owner and be giving racist comments? The manager offered no excuse, weleft breakfeast and then the hotel - spending two more nights there, giving this woman our money, was unbearable to us. As I am writing this, I am still very upset and sad. Not the perfect way to start our Sunday morning here in Milan. All the best to everyone,
