Night manager Nathan made my stay wonderful. He got my TV working, despite being on Spectrum, he helped me with local information and he was pleasant to talk with. He always had breakfast ready on time.

Room was one of the dirtiest rooms. Light fixtures were very dirty on the bases. Bathroom floor was filthy behind toilet. Bathtub was moldy or just very dirty along the wall. If picures could be posted I would have.

We stayed in "The Edison Room". It was very large with three beds and a hide-a-bed in the room. It was fantastic for our family of six! We thought he bathroom was a little strange with two separate showers side by side, but it was great for the girls to take showers at the same time and boys at the same time. I'm sure not everyone will use it that way, but it was ultimately a time saver for us. Great room for larger families!

I arrived about an hour early, but was turned away and made to wait to check-in. When I came back an hour later, there was a new person at the desk. I can only assume the first lady didn't want to check me in as it was time for her to leave. I don't believe there were no rooms ready an hour before standard check in. When i checked in, I was given room keys with 236 written on the envelope. So that's the room we entered. The door was already open so I didn't need the key. After a small nap, we decided to use the pool but thought we should try our room key, just in case. Sure enough, it didn't work. We went down to the desk and the same person who gave me the keys, questioning which room I went in. He didn't believe I was in 236 as that room was out of order. Grrr. I was supposed to be in 237, across the hall. I had to move all of our stuff. Not a huge deal but it was not my mistake and the guy didnt believe me when i told him i was told 236 even though it was written on the envelope. The pool was too cold for me but the hot tub was nice.

They definitely need to give the bathrooms some attention. It was one of the worst one's i have had/seen. The shower head was not secured into the wall and the cover plate was completely off so could see inside the wall. The lighting was by far the worst not just in the bathroom but in the room as well. The light in the bathroom flickered the entire time no matter how long or short it was on. The room had a funky smell i had to buy spray to try and mask it as much as i could. There was only 1 outlet in the whole room that you could actually get to that worked. Which was really annoying because of course it was not near the bed. Few of the evening staff was rude. This hotel will definitely be at the very bottom on my list of recommendations.

Guy didnt open breakfast untill he woke up at 8-9 lol then closed it at 9:30-10:00 people that work there also live there just felt a lil un safe leaving my belongings no fresh towels when i asked they said cleaning crew didnt show up that whole week i was there just very poor customer service only half the breakfast is available no waffles very little milk stale cereal old muffins lol

My family and I stayed at the hotel I love the hot tub the sink water kept stopping up the floors were dirty I took rags to front desk and she mentioned why are they dirty I used rags after shower and found out floors were dirty then breakfast I asked about pancake machine and response was we not putting anything in there at all wow she was no were to be found for a while I didn’t like the service at all

Making it a little less awkward
I was coming from out of town till Visit, my children that I could only be supervised between 11 and three basically. I am booked a room for that night. I came there at 11 section about the situation is very accommodating and very understanding and she offered me the lounge or in the game area or the pool side. I have been feeling extremely uncomfortable and ashamed about the whole encounter with my girls cashier responded very positively sing. Good for you. I’m in the home encounter a little bit. I said I probably will not stay the night because there is not a reason to say well if you decide to we have a great continental breakfast and I would certainly come back again, the staff makes up for the age of the building

We had reserved, and were promised by Management, a King on the 1st floor because we can't do stairs. Ended up with a double. They wanted us to just take it and be happy. They gave our King 1st floor to someone who got there earlier than us. This was not acceptable, but we had nowhere else to go!

Won't stay here or in a Days Inn based on this experience. Checked in at 7:30pm and had to wait for room to be cleaned. Clerk didnt ask about mobility, put us on second floor-no elevator. 110v outlets on all lamps worn out and non working. Food lid between wall and night stand. No diet soda offered in vending machine- perhaps another floor had diet, but so frustrated, didn't look. I stayed in a much older Rodeway Inn the night before, but it was well maintained and clean. This place was frustrating - inconvenient with worn out electrical outlets made me feel unsafe.

Do not have an elevator to get to the rooms on the upper floor which is an inconvenience for people with disabilities and wasn’t made aware of this until I showed up to the property. There was a dead fly in my window seal. The toilet paper roll in the bathroom was empty which made me concerned if the room was properly cleaned in the first place. Went to use the coffee machine and I didn’t add water to it but water was coming out of it so didn’t use it after seeing that…They didn’t have a tv guide so I had to flick threw channels to find something to watch …they didn’t have any advertisements on near by restaurants that suck. And their options for breakfast is very limited so I payed extra money compared to hotels that offer no breakfast for nothing…

Beware of Days in Milan
I was very disappointed with the stay. Room still had Parmesan packs in drawers from previous guests, dusty dirty rooms, no tissue in rooms, desk stated they don’t offer it. It was advertised as a heated pool but pool was not heated. Security doors go enter were broken, toilet seat was peeling with brown stains on it. Breakfast was not restocked, lots of eye rolls from hotel staff when customers request anything. It was a nightmare.

Good for a 1 night stay
Room was clean, water stayed hot. Bed was pretty comfortable. They advertise heated pool & hot tub, the pool was ice cold! Hotel is next to railroad tracks, it was noticable when a train went through. Room was connected would have been nice to have a heads up about it. Check out was quick and easy.

Standard Days Inn Experience
We had a great check-in experience, the beds were soft, and the breakfast was plenty for our group. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel could be a bit better (room furniture was stained, exterior doors into staircases weren't closing, and the pool area was a little grungy). There also was no tv guide or guest information in the rooms which would have been nice. Overall though, not a bad hotel for a budget property.
