Milan on a budget

This hotel is fantastic if you just want a base to come back to at night. The staff are fantastic and only too pleased to offer assistance. Adrian on the front desk spoke perfect english and could even understand my scouse accent. The hotel customer service was excellent and offered extra free toiletries, tea/ coffee machine Iron etc if asked for.The continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Even though we only stayed for 2 nights the maids cleaned the room and changed the towels/linen each day. The only bad points were the rooms are not soundproof and if someone is watching the tv in the next room you would be able to hear it, the Wifi was a bit hit and miss the signal strength was at times poor. The neighbour it is located in is not the most scenic .At reception you can purchase transport tickets for the excellent Milan transport system . There is a tram stop 100m down the road and this beautiful tram (no 1 every 10 mins) will take you into the heart of Milan in 30 mins or a metro station in 5. The San Siro stadium is close and very easy to get to by metro. In summary the hotel is spotless, good food, friendly and good location to access the city.
