Disappointing Demo
1) Hotel room was in a separate block and there was no shelter from rain. Highly inconvenient! 2) The lift lobby lights outside the room was not working. And could not see where to go as we checked in at night. 3) There was no electric kettle for hot water boiling which is totally essential in winter journey. 4) There was no proper working air conditioning/heating at all, and we had to rely on a small single thermal heater unit beside the window, which is clearly insufficient to heat the room. 4) 2 foldable beds had sharp edges that cut a hole in my clothing twice. Totally unsafe for children. 5) The foldable bed mattresses were so thin that we could feel the springs underneath! 6) The modern photos of the hotel lobby are a stark contrast from the room and failed to live up to a 3 star hotel experience. It was just awful and underwhelming:(

This place was creepy. Our room was right in a corner too which meant the bathroom was tiny. TV was tiny too. Weird paintings everywhere and when you wanted to leave, you had to hand your key in. One of the ladies on the front desk came across as rude.

Staff were very friendly snd very helpful. Hotel is 5 min walk from the main central station. There are a few restaurants close by. A mini market like 2 min walk away. Streey parking 2 Euro an hour from 08-19 after 19 hours free parking till morning. Secured parking just around the corner for 25 euro a day.

Check in clerk was rude. You have to schlep your luggage up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. The shower was so small you can't bend down to get anything.

Basic 3 star hotel and a bit tired. bed linen changed every day and rooms cleaned . Rooms are on the small size but adequate. The staff were friendly and spoke several languages including signing for the deaf. good continental breakfast, close to central station and coaches for the airports.Price reasoable for Milan

The demo hotel in milan , is a beautiful peice of art and design , walking distance to metro and milano centrale and other transport ways to places , for a few euros you can travel wherever you wish through milan to all the well know places , or even travel further to beautiful lake como for under 10 euros return , the hotel itself is a wonderful place to stay for the night or for a week or two , reasonable breakfast , lots to choose from cereals or cakes or salami meats of milan , the staff are excellent and very helpful and welcoming to demo hotel , the hotel has always hot water for shower and lots of clean towels , rooms are clean and beautiful , for 8 euros theres a coach that takes you to malpensa airport its alot cheaper then taxi or train and its the same journey , me and my friend had a wonderful time in demo hotel, valentines 2019 !! Decoration is artistic. Room is very clean and has a good hair dryer (strong wind so that your time for drying hair is shortened). Heater is hot enough to make me feel cozy and comfortable. Overall experience is great

Had a nice time at the hotel it had all we needed a safe place to come back to at end of the day it was close to the transition and subway station to get around Milan and the hotel breakfast include bread with butter/jam/honey, cheese, meat, croissants, pastries, rolls, fruit juice and various handmade hot beverages.

When I arrived, I felt the smell of urine. I had not been able to sleep at night because of noise. I could hear somebody's singing and voice all the nights I had stayed as if the walls were papers!

Very conveniently located basic hotel
Hotel is good. It's not a five star experience but it's got all you need, the room is clean if a bit small, all the facilities are there. Basic breakfast is provided. The main reason we stayed there is the proximity to the station and the location is perfect in this sense. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as a family place for a long holiday, but if you need a one-two night stay close to the station, Demo hotel is what you need

Excellent location and friendly staff
We stayed for 5 nights in August. Excellent location very near to Milan train station and bus terminal. Room is basic with good air conditioning and decent Wifi. Very friendly and helpful staff especially Loida who served us breakfast every morning with a smile. The receptionists Emilia and the guy at night are nice too. Our room is always smelling fresh but needing a bit of dusting under the bed but otherwise comfy beds. Overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend the hotel.

If you are needing a one night stay near the Milan Centrale train station, this fits your needs just fine. Nothing fancy, but for one night and the price it is adequate. A 5 minute walk to the train station and several restaurants, mini-markets and ATM close by.

Do not let Hotel Demo move you to Club Hotel
This review actually concerns Club Hotel, not Demo, as when we tried to check in at Demo, we were sent around the corner to their "sister hotel", the "new" one apparently. This is not the first time Demo have done this to us, so I feel it is appropriate they are reviewed on the standards we received at Club. It was not new. It was dated and cramped and we had no hot water on 2 out of 3 days we stayed there. The receptionist simply shrugged and gave a big sarcastic smile. She knew we had paid in advance and there was very little she was bothered to do about it . It was not the hotel we had booked, the room was extremely cramped and dated, there was no hot water and there was no apology, no attempt to compensate us or even move to another room.

Due to flight delays we stayed in this hotel only 1 night. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff made an excellent restaurant recommendation and was very helpful with directions. Easy access to the train station and within walking distance to everything we needed.

Hotel has another building as an apartment behind main building. Rooms and apartment are old and dreary. They take your room keys when you leave hotel. I think it is so absurd situation. Hotel is close to central station. The only thing about hotel is this. Breakfast is weak. They might not accept to keep your luggage after check out time. In case if you do not have any alternative, you might think this hotel. Otherwise, not recommended.

The only good thing was the distance to the train
Upon arrival highly uninformative staff given key and no info at all. I know i booked a small room but it was tiny Beware larger people you might not get in the shower the doors are so small!! Walking up a grey concrete staircase to which looked more like a run down block of flats to the room it became clear it wasnt going to be a quiet night Everytime someone opens a door you hear When they use the stairs you hear When they shower or flush loo thats right uou here and dont start me on the 7am cleaner who thats right you hear!!!! Would NEVER book here again and I've stayed in 4 other hotels and the only reason i didnt go there was they were fully booked

Firstly great check in. But few things room was extremely small, bed made you fall into the middle with two people. Shower could hardly fit a normal sized male, no aircon worked, had to leave the key at reception each time we left (security very low), had to walk past private apartments court yard to room which smelt like fish and continuous thrashing and dog barking at 11.30pm-1.00pm each night. Close to train station but not in the great area. Breakfast was very basic and no were else to eat. Bed was small and no fridge, pictures do not show the real room view.
