Hotel NY
The hotel is not well maintained. They charged luggage storage even if we're coming back in 2 days. The location is near the train station but there are homeless near the hotel.

At least it overlooks Milano Centrale...
Very dated and fairly dirty hotel but you get what you pay for, although it's still expensive for what it is because you can charge anything in Milan! Rooms are spacious but not comfortable, and the bathrooms need a thorough clean. Also found the front desk staff overly familiar.

The hotel was at a good location. The hotel was dated and mediocre. The whole room looked like a cheap Motel. Food was OK not great.

Good value for money.!!
Good property right opposite milano centrale station. Easy access to all the important places in milan. But said that, the rooms were a bit old and the wifi was too slow and at times not working at all.

Very well located to Milan Central station. Hotel check In was quick and easy and the single room I booked was upgraded to a double which was lovely. Room 327. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately my next door neighbours woke up very early at 5.30 and were very very noisy and could hear as the walls were thin. Breakfast was sufficient; mini croissants, pain au chocolat, cheese, yoghurts, cakes and coffe/tea/fruit juice.

Hotel room we checked in to was having loud noise when turned on. Only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to the Milano Centrale station.

Ok for a short trip
Right opposite Milan central. That is about it. Decent breakfast...Rooms look old...bathrooms are ok... Book only if in Milan for one night or if you are looking for a place to sleep..eat breakfast and catch a train next door

Very convenient to the train station. Friendly staff. No frills room, but as expected for the moderate price. Clean bathroom.

Basic hotel near train station
The hotel carpets are disgusting. The place is clean overall and you get what you pay for. But, come on. Replace the carpet from 1964.

Clean good hotel near main train station
Very good staff, friendly and spoke English. Breakfast was a nice selection of fresh food and the hotel is very close to the main train station, Milano Central. Overall good place.

The hotel is directly across the street from the train station which is great if you need the train. But there were quite a few street paddlers in the area. A few nice restaurants near by. The walls are very thin in your room. Room was very clean. Price for room is good.

Very OK hotel very close to Milan Centrale Station
For me this hotel was a last minute decision after two very disappointing previous hotel choices, so finding myself in a professional, well run, clean and safe environment was a great relief. The hotel is directly opposite Milan's main station and so has easy access to the public transport system, The hotel is probably overdue for refurbishment, but still presents pretty well considering the cost. The staff are genuinely friendly, eager to help and speak good English. As a bonus the hotel serves an excellent breakfast, all continental choices but with a good selection of breakfast cereals, fruits and other dishes, along with great coffee........Though "From 07:00" does mean from 07:00........Don't bother turning up early ;-)

You can see the hotel when you step out from the Centrale Station. It is only about 2 minutes walk. The hotel can get a bit noisy as it is very close to the metro and you can feel a bit of the vibration. Otherwise the room is comfortable enough. I like the breakfast as well with some cake and pastry selection.

Good hotel to visit Milan !
The hotel is not very fancy, but you get a good bed and a clean place that is close to the Milan Centrale train and metro station. The room was OK for one, but it will be tight for 2 persons.

Stunning views of Milano Central Station
We arrived early and as it was prior to check in time we called in to check if we could leave our bags and were pleasantly surprised to find we could check in early. The reception staff were all pleasant and most helpful. The continental breakfast was a good selection and staff also very nice. Don't forget that upon check out to pay the city tax as well as whatever you use in the mini bar. Right beside the central station which is why I chose this hotel, airport bus stops outside and inside you have access to trains and the metro and the street cars also stop nearby. Big TV in the room, bed was very comfortable and room spacious and the shower was also pretty good, would stay here again in future.

Very Convenient Hotel
Great location, 200 meters from the main gate of Milan Central Train Station, but the hotel is OK only for a short stopover in Milan. The breakfast is very basic but satisfactory. The staff is helpful and friendly. I will stay again for one or two nights.

They have staff at reception 24 hours so it's great. You have to leave the key everytime you go out. Thank goodness this hotel has a lift. Most hotels i had been in italy do not have. The lift is rather old and slow though. The room is very nice and new, bathroom is spacious, fantastic. The view from my room was so great, facing Milan centrale, so pretty at night. Lots of homeless people at night near the hotel, but i guess nothing they can do about that. The wifi was terrible, very slow. I am generally happy with this hotel though.

Excellent location and service
We made Milan our home base and stayed three times at the New York Hotel. They were very helpful. When we needed to miss breakfast due to an early tour, they gave us a breakfast in a bag.

Nice hotel friendly staff close to many restaurants and bars and the biggest train station I've ever seen in my life Milan central only down side was the breakfast could of had more of a variety than cake corn flakes and croissants and very noisy in the nights and there's a lot of homeless people around the entrance of the hotel.

Was noisy. I could hear about what people were talking in the next room. Very tiny shower. A room was quite small, but ok for short stay. No kettle or welcome set with tea or coffee. Breakfast was very basic. Pillows were not comfortable.

Poor hotel
Hotel is old and rooms are small and dirty. Towels smelled strongly of vinegar making them hard to use and showers dreadful. The bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable I have ever slept in. The only redeeming quality of the hotel was the front desk staff who were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also okay but the room was so gross I never wanted to be in it. Also the hotel is quite a distance from the city center and the metro was okay but did not feel safe enough to use alone past dark. The Wifi did not work at all in the hotel and even the people at the front desk said it is awful quality.
