The front desk officer was very rude, when we spoke to him in English, he said some bad words about tourists to his colleague but in Italian, but luckily my friend understood what he said. And he refused the early check in request, while I have gold status at expedia, and there were free rooms at the property, but he said rooms are not ready. Second point: sheets are not clean. Lastly, AC didn’t work.

Hotel Sempione was a great place to stay and I was super grateful for their luggage storage. As for cleanliness, it wasn’t the best. At first we saw a couple hairs on our pillow cases and brushed that off. Then we went into our shower and their was mold on the wall. A decent amount of mold on the wall. That was a bit unsettling. Super nicely decorated rooms and a great amount of space. This hotel was in a great location from the train station, metros and about a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral.

was fine for a budget hotel but some aspects were disappointing. breakfast was extremely basic and we were served stale bread once. some front of house staff were blunt and unhelpful and shower was awkward and difficult to use. breakfast staff lovely and rooms were clean and well kept.

It’s ok
Hotel is situated in a great spot, surrounded buy shops and amenities and a walkable distance from the train station. Staff are friendly, breakfast was ok bread was a bit stale but in general it was ok, room was mall , hardly enough space to place two large cases, bathroom was very small too. In general the service was good.

Pleasant hotel. 15 mins walk from Central Station, Republica metro is conveniently round the corner with links to the Cathedral in 10 mins. Small tidy rooms with all you need for a few nights stay. Breakfast simple but pleasing. Friendly staff.
