Not at all like the pictures
Tried to give us a room which was in dire need of updating and not acceptable. Let us look at two other rooms, one of which was smoked in, the other was ok. Not at all like website pictures. Parking was good, location was ok and access to the local train station was very easy. Good breakfast.

Would stay here again to catch early flight.
Over all, not a 5 star hotel but serves its purpose. Hotel was clean, room was clean, bed was sleepable, and staff was professional. Biggest complaint is the issue the hotel has with Expedia. The reservation states free shuttle to airport. The reception tried to make me pay. I showed the reservation and there was no problem but it was reluctant. Everything was honored over all and there for I leave it at 4 stars because over all it was what I expected. A place to rest my head before the flight with a short ride to the airport. I would recommend confirming your free ride if it's a big deal (if I would have paid it would have been 10 Euro additional). Also, neighborhood seems safe. I arrived at midnight walking from the very close rail station.

Nice little hotel near Malpensa airport.
Nice small hotel with free shuttle, great restaurant and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good and available early. Easy pickup from airport and convenient return on our schedule. Room was clean, but a little noisy. Somma Lombardo was walkable and charming.

The lights in the hall are motion sensored and are not very sensitive... It's pitch black. There was loud music outside my window. The showerhead was completely encrusted with calcium and other minerals.

Okay so it was close to the airport and an easy walk from the train station. The queen size bed was similar to slatted cot with one pillow. It served the purpose as stated, close to the airport with punctual shuttle service.

Hotel Tre Leoni staff were the kindest people I've encountered on my entire trip! I had lost my cellphone charger and the staff gladly lent me his own. The driver who dropped me off at the airport at 5:30am was nothing but sunshine and brightened my morning. The hotel also serves delicious breakfast starting at 4am for early flyers. The room was clean and cozy. The shower was so hot and delightful. I can't say enough good things about my stay at Hotel Tre Leoni. Thank you!

Not much to do in Somma, but very close to Lake Maggiore if you have a car. I wouldn't stay here if you don't have a car!!!

Great family hotel for MXP
This is a great little family run hotel that is perfect if you are flying in or out of Milan (MXP). The room was clean, the shuttle service was quick and courteous, the staff were warm and helpful, the complimentary breakfast was great. Considering the price paid and the purpose of the visit, this is a great little hotel. Thanks!

Very friendly staff, easy walk from the train station (go to the first street out of the train station around the corner, it's on this street on the left side). The rooms were sort of dorm-like, but comfortable. You can share a pizza at the adjoining restaurant for 5 euros (more if you want more toppings). Good breakfast. Not an American breakfast, obviously, but plenty to choose from and yummy bread choices. Cappuccino included as well. Residential neighborhood. Beautiful flowers in spring.

Fantastic Deal!!
We were picked up by the free shuttle at the airport and dropped off there the next day; great convenience that they have this service. The hotel was in a cute neighborhood; easy walk to the train that takes you to milan. If you're just in milan for a day this place is perfect, you're close to the airport but can still take a quick train (45-50mins) into the city. They provided an amazing free buffet breakfast that had tons of food and endless coffee (including a machine where I could make my own cappuccinos)! Their restaurant that served lunch and dinner was full of locals (so you KNOW it's good food) where they served great lunch/dinner options. Staff were attentive and very helpful; this place definitely exceeded our expectations for the value.

Very convenient to Malpensa Airport
This hotel in the small town of Somma Lombardo is perfect for an overnight stay prior to flights from Malpensa (10 km). There is a free airport shuttle and a nice breakfast which begins very early, nice for pre-flight. There re several very good restaurants in the village, within walking distance -- located by Somma Lombardo's small and picturesque castle -- the Corte Visconti (need to reserve) and Castigo Castigo, where we had a lovely last supper in Italy. The hotel also has a restaurant. Rooms are small but very nice, and the price is VERY reasonable. Highly recommend this hotel.

A Nite in Milano
We took the train into Malpensa Airport from Florence . The shuttle bus was there in about 10 minutes after we called the hotel for pickup. After checking into the hotel, the shuttle bus took us to our room, located in a small apartment building 5 minutes away, to drop off our luggage and returned us to the main hotel bldg. We had a dinner in the Tre Leoni restaurant. and the shuttle took us to our rooms again. Early the next morning the shuttle was back to take us to the the airport, we chose to skip the breakfast that was included because it was too early for us to want to eat. Everything worked like clockwork thanks to the efficient and friendly staff.

This was our second time to stay at Hotel Tre Leoni because of early flights. Their restaurant serves an excellent evening meal and you can have breakfast as early as 4 am.

If you want to stay close to Malpensa to fly out of Milan, I highly recommend staying 10 min away in Somma Lombardo. We stayed there a week ago at Tre Leoni Hotel. The staff was helpful and I must say...the attached ristorante was REALLY good food! You know when locals are eating there it must be good right? They had a convenient shuttle that picked us up at the airport when we arrived by train, and then dropped us off the next morning to fly home. No charge. Breakfast was also included with our 76E stay. Great deal! My only complaint was that the bedspread covers were pretty old and nasty (we took them off first thing). Otherwise, the place was very clean and quiet.

What a disappointment
We arrived and were immediately told there was a plumbing problem and we had to stay at their "villa" which was about a half mile away. No phone, doors to outside open all night, no one there for security, no one to give us a wake up call, no one there in case of emergency. NEVER, NEVER GO THERE!

overall it wasn't bad,but our bathroom door didn't shut so the allnight fan was constant noise,despite asking for it to be fixed ,it wasn't. The shower cubicle was small, there was enough room in the bathroom to put in a bigger one! It was a very clean hotel with very welcoming staff and in a very central location .Will be staying there again.

Nice for MXP Connections
This hotel was about what I expected. Very convenient for people need a connection to MXP, less convenient getting from MXP to the hotel. I was in the guest house about a half miles away from the hotel down a couple of streets. It would have been nice to have stayed in the main house since I am by myself, but it worked out well. The restaurant in the main hotel building is great! The wifi also worked very well and was fast enough for uninterrupted Skype calls.

I really liked the restaurant located in the hotel which was packed with locals for dinner and served good, reasonably priced food and wine. I would recommend the 'Tonno" (tuna) pizza! Chose this place partly because of the free shuttle to the airport, which was great! The room was average but comfortable and they did have an elevator (a rarity on our trip, anyway). Would stay again.

We looked for a hotel near Malpensa Airport Milano since we had flight early in the morning. We also had to return a car in the airport evening before the flight. Hotel stuff was very helpful and friendly. They went by their shuttle together with us to show the way and place where to return a car in the airport and took us back to the hotel. At 4 AM they took us to the airport and brought courasouns as a take away breakfast. Just perfect!

Our stay at this hotel was brief, and a much needed respite during our travels (my husband and I). The hotel staff were kind, accommodating, and the facilities were fantastic. We really only had one negative experience. The woman behind the bar in the complementary breakfast area. My husband and I, paying customers at the hotel, walk up to the bar and order two espressos. I clearly see the machine behind her. But she looks at me and gestures with her head towards the automatic machine on the table in front of us and says "there's a machine right there." I wanted to say "then what in the world are you there for? Decoration?" But I brushed it off. That us until a group of Italians walked in. They were from the town, and they all knew her by name. Might I note, NOT customers of the hotel. Not only does she start making them coffee, and letting them help themselves to the hotel'a free breakfast bar, but she brings the coffee to their table on trays. This is not just cultural, but incredibly rude, as my Italian father observed when I told him the story. It made me ashamed to call myself Italian.

It is a reasonable price value when staying a night at Milan Malpensa airport. The driver of the pick up service was very friendly (I think his name was andrei) as it was all the hotel personnel. The room was in another building but they provided transport, so I am satisfied.

For the price, this is one of the best deals.
We just needed a place to be close to the airport for our departure and ended up being very pleased. The restaurant serves excellent quality food. They picked us up from the train station and dropped us off at the airport the following morning for FREE. Free breakfast was also really good. Free wifi was easier to access in lobby than in room.

Cleanand close to airport.
We used the hotel to get us close to the airport. Everything was very good. Got driven to an apartment 2 minutes away and picked up for breakfast then driven to the airport. Nice breakfast, good coffee. Nothing at all to complain about. Very happy.

Odd and unpleasant set-up
The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. But we were put in a building a 10 minute walk from the hotel. This building had no hotel staff on site. Although there was a locked front gate and a locked front door, people kept leaving both open. We shut them when we came in, and then heard people pounding on the door and clanging metal late at night. This happened two nights. It seemed like this was a regular apartment building, and some residents had guests over who didn't have keys.
