Not a good choice for me

Location: I booked this hotel because it came up in my Expedia search as "near the airport." I only needed a one night stay because I was flying to NY the next
I booked this hotel because it came up in my Expedia search as "near the airport." I only needed a one night stay because I was flying to NY the next morning. This hotel is NOT near the air port It was a 20 min. ride, a taxi to the hotel cost me 60 Euro, then a shuttle back to the airport the next day cost me 40 Euro. The hotel is also a 45 minute bus ride to Milan Center -- I'm not sure why anyone would use this hotel, except maybe for a conference. For this reason, I was very unhappy with the choice of this hotel.

Good hotel, reasonable price close to airport

Pros: Thank you for the breakfast!!
Cons: Black bathroom and Hallway decor could use some updating. Too dark and we had a bit of mold around tub. Extending bar hours would be nice as well.
Location: Close to airport. Saw a shopping mall while heading 5-10 min north but didn't stop to browse
Check-in was fine, staff was pleasant and welcoming. We arrived before midnight and thought we'd grab a drink at the bar to unwind from a long day only to find it was closed (too early in my North American opinion). Exterior looks far newer than the inside. Hallway decor could use an overhaul. Nice size, quiet and clean room except I'm not a fan of the black bathroom, and I did notice a bit of mold starting around the tub. For a quick nites sleep it was fine though.

Outdated

Hotel overrated - outdated furniture and facilities. Awful mattress, hard and uncomfortable. Small shower with curtain, water ran all over floor. Mediocre breakfast buffet. Staff was helpful but not a hotel we would stay at again.

Forget the shower

Pros: Comfortable room, nice bed and good lighting. The staff was very friendly. There is a bar in the lobby. We didn't eat in the restaurant but the menu was not very appealing.
Cons: A shower that floods the bathroom floor. There was only a one inch rim around a "shower" space with a curtain surrounding it which did nothing to contain the water. It went all over the floor and we had to abandon a thought of a shower.
Location: I was under the impression that the hotel was near the airport. A 20 -30 minute drive (without traffic) does not seem very near to me,

Modern new build, good condition throughout.

This hotel is well out of town which suited me as I was in the area on business. If you are in town to enjoy a break or the highlights of Milan you would be best to stay closer to town. There is not much going on in the area of the hotel.

UNA Hotel Malpensa - 30km distace to airport MXP

Pros: Upgrade to superiore room for very reasonable price.
Location: nearest restaurant is 0,5 km by car and not walking access
Not bad for this price, but 100m from highway is too noisy to fully rest. We got an offer for superior room and we use it.

Our family was traveling from Venice back to the USA via Milan. We got there mid afternoon after having a long train ride and what seemed like a longer taxi ride. We needed to get up at 4 AM to start the trip back to the USA. Therefore, we wanted to eat a good meal and relax before going to sleep. The hotel restaurant was unavailable until 7:30 at night. VERY inconvenient. We were also unaware of the controls for the room lighting and no one advised us of how they worked, adding to our frustration. he shower was uncomfortably small, just a curtaining off of about 9 S.F. and there was only one towel for two people in the room. We would not stay there again!!!

Not an airport hotel!

This is not an airport hotel!! It is a $40 shuttle ride away from the Malpensa airport and even farther away from downtown Milan. It is in a bad looking area, we did not leave the hotel because of how the area looked when we arrived. The exterior grounds are not maintained and have weeds. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot. The restaurant was fine and the complimentary breakfast was very big with all the things you would available. The staff were very professional.
