We checked in on Friday August 18, 2023. The room we were given was on the lower level. When we opened the door, the room smelled old and musty. It was late so we stayed. They had no other rooms. I wiped down the table with Lysol wipes so I had some where to put the luggage. In the morning after taking showers water was dripping from the ceiling in the bedroom. We put all our stuff in the car. I went to the front desk and told the lady about the dripping. She said she would tell housekeeping. I said maybe you do not understand but water is dripping from the ceiling. She said she would tell the manager. We left for the day. Unable to find other accommodations we returned that evening. I went to front desk and manager said well it’s not leaking now. Not acceptable, when we said we had pictures he found us another room. We looked at it and said ok. 2nd room didn’t smell but the couch was terrible, dirty and ripped. We stayed Saturday and Sunday cause I had no choice. I will not recommend this Super 8 to anyone. And they charged us for all 3 nights. Oh and to begin with they called me at home on Thursday saying they cancelled our reservation. Then they said they just had a room for Friday. The whole thing was a mess!

We had a very nice two day stay. Our beds were comfortable, the vending machines were well stocked and everything was very clean. Carol at the front desk was wonderful and the waffles for breakfast were delicious! 10/10 would stay here again.

Look for a different place to stay
This property needs an overhaul. The room carpet felt gummy to the point we didn’t take our shoes off & walk around. The flooring in the bathroom was buckled, there were water stains on the ceiling, bathroom faucet was corroded. An overwhelming smell of cleaning products to mask the odor of an old building.

Even though its an older building it was nice, clean and quiet. The only thing negitive was that the bathroom didnt vent out the moisture when we showered. Eberything else seemed fine.

Rude awakening!
Was awakened at 530 am when the smoke alarm went off. It kept ringing so we assumed the battery was dead. We had no phone in our room to call the desk. I finally used my cell phone having to call 3 different numbers to get the person at the desk. He was of course asleep. He did come up and fix it about 20 minutes later. Otherwise it was fine.

The hotel smell like someone had smoked a full pack of cigarettes INSIDE. The bathroom door couldn't even close and the shower had no water pressure to the point it was unusable.

The bed was so very comfortable! My room was very clean. For this being an inexpensive hotel, I was very impressed on how clean everything was. Yes, This hotel is older, it does show it’s age. However, what makes me happy is cleanliness, staff friendliness, and a comfortable bed. The gentleman that checked me in, made me feel so welcome. Even offered to carry my luggage up the stairs for me!

Nice manager, but...
It is hard to say how my stay went. They double booked my room, and I didnt get to stay there. But, the management was great and found me a room across town, even though it was a cheaper quality small motel. My only problem is that they put me in a $70/night room, when I paid for a $100/night room, and then tells me its an even exchange. I am glad that I didnt trust Hotels.com booking and get to my room late at night.
