I booked thinking we would have all we needed, as it was a long weekend.so I was very disappointed to find that the restaurant was closed and there was nothing else offered to us.( room service).our room was lovely and clean, even though the balcony could of been cleaned before we arrived.

Very spacious and clean, also a great view.very close to town centre.and nice and quite surroundings and to wake up to the sound of birds. Would definitely stay there again.

Was a lovely room. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing missing was a pool and play area for kids. Off all the places we stayed on our way to Tassie and back, this place was one of the nicest to stay in. Thank you.

We stayed at the Swagsman on the 26th with 3 adults and 2 young kids (0 and 4). We booked the corporate room which Expedia booking site allowed for (we paid extra for an additional person as well). I called ahead to let them know that i would be late and they were happy to accommodate, they even set up the sofa bed for us for our arrival. Overall the stay was pleasant, the rooms were clean and spacious. Fast forward two weeks, I made the exact same booking for the 6th of November for our trip home, it cost a little more than our first booking but I was happy to go back because of our last visit. I figured I'd call ahead and let them know id be checking in late again, this time the same lady on the phone said your booking exceeds the max number of people. I explained that I had booked the same room 2 weeks back and they accommodated me even by setting up the sofa bed, she blamed it on Expedia stuffing up their options and said that we should be booking the family room instead of the corporate room. She wanted extra from me for that. I explained that the booking site allowed for and I even paid the extra person surcharge but she didnt offer any other options other than paying 50 bucks more, which is absurd because my infant co sleeps with me. I booked this place to my budget, so I couldn't afford to pay extra. I ended up booking another motel down the road who was happy to accommodate us for alot better price. I'm very disappointed in the way the Swagsman handled this

lovely room, can't fault anything about it. Bed great. Only complaint was the noise of the garbage truck collection early in the morning.

Nice clean modern room. Shower was very spacious with great water pressure. Staff were friendly and the registration process was very fast and simple. Quite location.

Clean, spacious room.
When the creek is full behind the motel it must be lovely to view from your room. A big plus for location. Nice roomy room and comfortable bed, but very noisy place, especially in the morning. Methinks there needs to be more insulation. Overall a pleasant stay in a pretty little town.

Stop off on way home
The Swagsman is a regular stop for my family on our travel between Gold Coast and Charleville, great modern facilities with everything one would need for a young family, our only gripe about our last stay was the long black hair we found all through the shower, think someone missed that shower when cleaning.

High Standard
We stayed in a 2 Bedroom Room. Very spacious and modern with a courtyard out the back. Tastefully designed, very clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay there again.

Great stop over
It was a great place to over night. Spacious even had outside eating area. Comfortable beds with lovely crisp limen , huge bath towels what more could you want.

Great place to stop as a break in a trip.
Nice sized room with good inclusions. Restaurant had great number of options and local hotel food also very good.

Good location for a stopover
Hotel is at the edge of town, but an easy walk in for meals etc. Very new and great value. We stayed overnight on our way north and it proved a good stopping place. Extreme heat meant air con was a must, and it coped well. Food service in the Australian Hotel up the road was super slow (but food was good).

Was a very nice room, very clean was only one bad thing about the stay is the restaurant was closed for Xmas break but hey who could blame them, will def stay there again

Very Modern, Clean and Excellent Value.
Very new and modern motel with excellent facilities. Family room was generous size and excellent value for money. we would certainly stay again when in Miles. Excellent car undercover car parking and shower was 5 star.

Great half way stop from Charleville to Brisbane
We have stayed at Swagsman's a number of times as it is almost exactly half way from our home in Charleville and Brisbane, and when travelling with a a very active little boy, it is an excellent place to stop. Great walk along the river and the wildlife at the backdoor keeps the little man occupied. Only problem is the tiles in the shower / bathroom are incredibly slippery when they get wet, we have had a couple of slips and head bumps. Otherwise great place to stop.

Very new commercial motel.
Perfection is not so comfortable for a work overnight stay. I was afraid to use the room as I might make it dirty! So modern and expensive. Great for a long stay as the room is like an apartment with a very usable balcony. Restaurant is way too expensive for my budget. Nothing close by.

This was the best motel we have been in since out travels - large and roomy - beautiful set up could bot fault anything other than the internet which unfortunately was non assistant but then the whole Town's internet was also out - otherwise a lovely stay

Very modern & loads of room
Highly recommend this hotel. I was very surprised at how modern & spacious it was. We arrived on a public holiday so couldnt try the restaurant but room service breakfast was ok.
