Hotel under redo

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Room clean that's about it. Staff was friendly. Missing a few things like phone and hairdryer. Smelled of chemicals .

Do yourself a favor and try somewhere else!

Posted Jul 18, 2016
Pros: Location, was about all I liked!
Cons: Everything; room cleanliness, hotel odor, staff personality and décor- that about covers it!
Location: It is centrally located to a lot of things to do, but stay somewhere else, there are a lot of better choices nearby!
It started with the check in, the guy who was at the front desk had the personality of a piece of fire wood! The room itself smelled of body odor, had stains all over the walls, and was decorated from the 1980's! The bathroom was dirty, the toilet had a massive stain running down the backside and was about to fall over because it wasn't fastened down! The hot breakfast would have been decent if they didn't run out of everything; eggs, sausage and waffle mix! Besides that everything was great!

This was a horrible hotel ,needs serious updating. It was very dirty and smelled horrible, the halls were never vacuumed while we were there. The molding was very dusty in the halls . The back door is never locked,it is zip tied to stay open .breakfast room was also very dirty.

HANDY

HOTEL WAS IN GOOD LOCATION, BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE CLOSED THE FLOORS OFF, THEY WERE REPLACING TILES IN BATHROOMS & THERE WAS TILE GROUT EVERYWHERE ON CARPETS & YOU TRAILED IT INTO ROOMS. THE TILE WORKERS OR CLEANING STAFF SHOULD HAVE VACUUMED AT THE END OF THE WORK DAY, SUCH AS SHAME AS OTHER STAFF WERE HELPFUL. A BAG OF RUBBISH WAS DUMPED IN BACK CARPARK & THE SQUIRRELS GOT INTO IT, MAKING SOME FUNNY MOMENTS, BUT IT SHOULD HAVE BE IN RUBBISH BIN

Under Repair

Posted Jun 10, 2016
It seems during my stay that the Quality Inn was going through some repairs. Many of the rooms on the first floor had their doors pulled off the hinges, there was dust throughout the hotel, and there was the overwhelming odor of BO that would hit you in the face the second you walked in. On a plus side, the staff was very nice. There was a free continental breakfast that consists of the normal "continental" fare: small yogurt cups, cereal, powdered eggs & sausage, and a waffle machine. Coffee was a adequate. There was also an issue about the room charge. On Expedia it was listed as $79 (which would have been fair given all the renovations) but after checking in I realized it was $130; very much overpriced for what was delivered, but too late to do anything about it. Wait until the repairs or whatever they were doing is over. At that price, there are much better options in this area.
