Toilet Troubles

The hotel and staff were nice enough. However, from the time of my arrival until I left I had a problem with the toilet overflowing. At first it was the slow drain tub, that developed to a nasty toilet. One night, when near overflow the staff bought me a plunger so that I COULD PLUNGE THE TOILET. I thought they should have compensated me in some way, and asked for compensation, but they did not. So if you're ok with the toilet, this is a nice place to stay.

This was a nice hotel. It was large and clean. The staff was nice and accommodating.

Beautiful Hotel - 4.5 Rating

Pros: Beautiful Hotel with modern luxuries and exceptional cleanliness.
Cons: A little more courtesy toward extended check out time needed. and more variety for breakfast choices.
Location: Great location, nearby shopping malls and restaurants

Not so merry stay at this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel before (about 14 months ago) and it was fine. But I think it is getting a little worn-out. We stayed over the holiday weekend to visit family in the area. The staff are friendly enough but the physical plant is aging. We had a 2 bedroom "suite" with a gas fireplace that was not working. One morning while I was in another room, the window in the bedroom fell off the track without any help from us! When I called the front desk to get help, they were pretty nonchalant. On Christmas Eve day, I left the hotel at 9:30 a.m. with a sign to please service the room but when I returned at 1:00 p.m., nothing had been done. I was pretty tired so did not bother to call housekeeping. One night in the middle of the night, I was awakened by a constant high pitch beeping coming from the HVAC. As it was 1:30 a.m, I tried to block it out and fall asleep but could not. I did call the Front Desk and someone came up, pushed a button and said it was going off because the filter needed to be changed. I just think they are not paying enough attention. For a four night stay, I paid a little over $900. A lot of money for the irritation involved.

Nice staff. Nice room

Everything was good. Except very little parking. I arrived in the evening and had to drag my suitcase from far away.
