Room Experience

Posted Dec 10, 2017
Pros: It represents a period in history which should be remembered. The décor is excellent and the staff are friendly.
Cons: New mattresses which aren't so hard would make a big difference. Also offer some kind of meal deals along with the cost of the nights stay.
Location: We were on our way to Sugarcreek to see a play and had to leave late so we chose to drive part way and stay overnight. Also the weather was a factor.
Room looked nice and was in period décor; however, the mattress was very hard and somewhat rounded. I rolled and tossed all night waking up sore all over. Also many of the brand name hotels offer a free breakfast which was not offered with this deal. Also there was a restaurant available, it was not included in the price of the room. If you want to stay in a period dated hotel, it would be a good one time experience; but, I plan to stay in brand named hotels after this.

The hotel is like a walk through time.

The hotel is beautiful and is more than pleasing. I am more than satisfied with the room, the restaurant, and the staff. All of my needs have been met. The only reason the hotel didn’t get all 5 stars is because the room was a little bit warm for our comfort with no way to adjust it. It did make it harder to sleep. Other than that, the beauty of this drift back in time hotel is well worth it. I would definitely stay here again.

Heat unit needs updated. Continual noise from unit. Heat in bathroom was totally inadequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed because of location to family funeral services

Overpriced in Millersburg

Dusty room. Wife and I both awoke congested. Fire alarm but no one would answer phone. Had to interrupt desk clerk to get answers about alarm. Cannot control temperature in rooms individually, we were hot all night.

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: Decor was very nice and the architecture of the building was like taking you back in time.
Cons: Smell of room, beds, air condition.
Location: Antique stores and nice little shops.
Beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Air conditioner in window was very noise. Had to turn it off at night to sleep. Food was good and people were very nice.
