We never been to Wisconsin not alone Milwaukee before, so it was different than what we thought. We came here for our 9th Anniversary. It was a great experience for us and reminds us to always have an open mind.
The hotel had 10 stairs leading up to the door, so be prepare if you are elderly or have a lot of bags. There are valet guys that might be able to help, because they opened the doors every time we entered the building.
When we got to the hotel - we met Sarah - she was very helpful and kind. She gave us restaurants to try while in Milwaukee. She even sent up a bottle of champagne on ice, glasses, cake and a handwritten note to say Happy Anniversary and welcoming us to the area the next day. It was pleasant surprise.
Bonus: The hotel is quiet. We never heard our neighbors!
It's clean and safe!
The hotel was built in the 1800s but pretty!
Great location!
The hotel is close to a lot of places:
The Public Market (4 mins walk) - cheese, meats, ice cream, snacks, coffee, food, alcohol, and restaurants. Make sure you go earlier in your stay because you will want to go again.
Make sure you do a tour while you are there - We did Untapped Tour on Groupon earlier in the week. It helped because you get to see the whole area and know where some places to go back to.
Very close to the Brewers stadium (6 mins drive) very organized - even drop off/pick-up spots for Ubers.
Harley Davidson Museum (5 mins drive) was close to the hotel and make sure you eat at the restaurant.
