Good hotel close to the airport

Pros: Clean
Cons: Plow the snow in the parking lot more frequently
Location: Near the airport.
We just needed a place to stay after flying in late at night to Milwaukee. This hotel was great!

Cannot book park & fly parking thru Expedia

Though we checked with IHG chat online before booking, the hotel desk staff said it is company policy not to allow guests to book park and fly parking at their hotels unless you book directly with IHG. They had parking spots available but since we booked the room from Expedia we were not able to add the $5/day parking spot for while we were on vacation. This made the free airport shuttle useless because we ended up having to drive elsewhere in the morning and park/shuttle in. It didn't help that Mikayla at the front desk was not empathetic, apologetic or even interested in the inconvenience and surprise of this. In addition, the bathroom fan was broken and there was dirt and hair in the bathtub. The suite itself was nice with plenty of room with a couch, a lounge chair, and 2 TVs.

Not convinced linens or room were thoroughly cleaned. The top cover was wrinkled and there was spot of makeup? on the sink. Staff tried breaking into my room at 9pm. They had the wrong room, another guest was having trouble getting into her room and they thought it was my room. I was told I would get a call from the manager Monday. It's Wednesday and still have not received a call.

Hotel was cool, staff was nice. Love the fact the overnight lady made me come down and let my guest in after hours. Kudos to you!

Our main problem, which cost us over $80.was info given to us by Expedia whic h was incorrect and they would not remburse us the charges we incurred on parking. We were told by Expedia that parking was included at our hotel and we could leave our car there while in FL. They did shuttle.my husband back and forth from WAWA PARKING but it was .more In likeconvenient and took more of the little time we had to spend at the hotel.
