Everything what you'd expect from a historic luxury hotel, with the following small flaws. Unattentative house keeping staff, wrong billing on check-out and former smoking room sold as non-smoking room without sufficient refurbishing. Otherwise a pleasant stay, a good price value and a great location ...
As we arrived later in the evening, there was a good sized group checking in ahead of us. The front desk took care of them very efficiently & we were in our room in no time. Throughout our 4 day stay, each staff member we passed by greeted us with a "good morning/good evening!" The room was kept ...
I was expecting a lot based on the previous reviews and I was still pleasantly suprised. We are dinner at the Fitz and it was excellent, the staff were very outgoing and the room was spotless and the tv with Netflix was an added bonus.

We have stayed at the Ambassador Inn several times and it is a fine hotel. Easy to drive to Downtown Milwaukee and the hotel offers free parking. Rooms are nice and clean.

We thought the hotel was in a great location to go have some fun in Milwaukee. We easily could walk to the Bradley Center, Old World 3rd St., Water Street for entertainment, food & drink.
Check in was rough, but there was construction going on and a large event at the hotel. Have stayed here 3x before and would stay again.
Staying at the Manderley Bed and Breakfast in Milwaukee is like staying with relatives whom you like only you don't have to share a bathroom. Our hosts have such an eclectic collection of things that add to the Victorian feel of the home and of course, the Coop Majal in the back where the chickens ...
