You insisted that you did not want to follow our policies and basically telling us how we should run our business, to benefit you. Then when Laura Sue greeted you at the door, welcoming you to come and sit to check you in, you would not, you were very force full in you did not like the billing that you were billed. But you chose to book with Expedia, not with us. At that point, she considered giving your money back. You put us in a place we did not want to be, walking on eggshells in our own home. You were adamant that you really did not need us during your stay. We honored your request, did very little interacting. (we do love having breakfast with a guests) If there was any issue with the room, nothing was said. You demanded that we just block your room instead to paying ahead, as we did, but in the end you booked a different one without telling us, through the 3rd party. As far as the "gun fire" you stayed days before New Years Eve. Neighborhood fireworks are very common. We know for a fact that the other BnB's were not sold out. And our cleaning person, was in shock that there was an issue with "dust". And yes, the room you picked has a deep claw foot tub. Did you use the handicap handle that is attached to the tub? Your husband did say that he did not want to acknowledge that he had a birthday, so in jest, I said that I would not wish you a happy birthday. We, with every guest, want the best for them, but the guests has to trust us and just step back and enjoy all that the mansion has to offer. But again even though many love Laura Sue for who she is and the big heart she has, there are those can not see it. Which makes it hard, Laura Sue can not please everyone. As far as the "worst", we do not think all the other guests, especially the returning ones would agree with you, on your last comment. Wish you a Happy New Year.

The Mansion is located in the middle of EVERYTHING that Milwaukee has to offer. Yes, we are in an urban area. We have may different cultures, who in our Historical Neighborhood. I do believe that you did find the area quietly and friendly if you had interacted with others.

These unwritten rules are not rules. It is looking out for our guests. We believe we kindly asked you to do something. Asking you move your luggage out from the middle of the hallway, is so that the other guests do not trip over your luggage. No dishes in the sink because you would feel bad if dishes got broke because you place dished in the sink and we work hard to have a great presentation at the breakfast time. You coming down early and just seat yourself at the table, we are not able to give you the presentation you desire. I did not make you move but I did have to work around you. Sometimes when we get reviews like this, we talk about it over and over and even question should we even care so much. In the end we always go back we will always care deeply for each and one of our guests safety and wellbeing. As far as our location, so many of our so enjoy us location since we are placed in the center of everything that Milwaukee had to offer.

(sigh) Marco, let us talk about the issues, when you called Expedia to request an early check in, I heard you reply to our policy. I heard how you feel that we run a poor running business if we charge extra for an early check in (1:00). "You should not have to charge extra, " etc, plus all the other degrading things you said about us. We asked you to please do not come before 3:30. Did you at all consider any reason why we request this of our guests. Under staffed, errands to run, a large event to service to before you arrive. You have noe idea what it really takes so that the minute you walk in the door it all looks flawless, just for the guest. You arrive at 3:10. I hated vaccuming around your feet (cleaning up from a large Baby Shower.) Then you requested breakfast at 9:30 am. You come down at 9:10 wanting your breakfast. Table is not full set and the oven is still cooking. We strive to have to every visit a joy. Even when you shook my hand you express that this was a wonderful place. I am sorry that you did not allow us to give that stay that you desired. (if you would only respect our policy, which were set up just for you to have the best stay ever)
