“The title suggests a hotel. It is not. It is a single rental in a residential apartment. That means no staff except an over-worked and confused front desk guard. And you make all the residents uncomfortable. I sometimes do stay in such arrangements buildings. This time I was exhausted and wanted a hotel and found myself dealing with a blizzard of weird rules and a confusing separate check in system. Room itself is a little depressing, but the rooftop is nice. The spa facilities are nice but time……

“This is an excellent authentic Quito apartment. Offering plenty of space including kitchen it is well located for a stay in Quito. The rooms are clean and its charm really is its traditional feel. However what adds to the excellence is the attention to detail of the Moreno family - they are brilliant. Their aim is to ensure you have a brilliant stay and will do all they can to help this to happen - organise taxis, recommend restaurants, help you with trip planning - you ask and they will do all……

“The apartment was a nice size one bedroom with all the amenities advertised...The apartment was very clean & well kept...The staff was friendly & helpful in suggesting & setting up tours, restaurants etc...I would definitely recommend Old Town Quito Suites Apartment & would definitely stay there again.”
