Great getaway in November

Posted Nov 20, 2017
We had an excellent experience, even in the fall. There is a lot of attention to details everywhere on the property. We used the excercise room, the spa, common area and restaurants and it was all great.

eva, thank you for your recent review. I am so glad you found the resort location to be beautiful. It really is a memorable experience waking up the scenic Lake Rosseau views right outside your bedroom. I am curious to know what kind of promotions that you would have liked to been informed of. All packages are listed on the website under deals and our social media channels are a great to way to see select spa and food and beverage promotions. I hope you enjoyed yourself so much so that you will return again soon!

Beautiful facility for quiet getaway

Posted Oct 4, 2017
Pros: Balcony overlooking lake was very quiet and peaceful
Cons: Only slight problem would be not enough hooks to hang wet bathing suits en suite - bathroom is spacious and well appointed except for that
Location: Close to Port Carling, Bala and Gravenhurst for sightseeing and seeing fall colours
3 different restaurant experiences on site with friendly staff. The pool and jacuzzi areas are lovely with spectacular lake views from above.

Linda, thank you for sharing your wonderful fall getaway! It sounds like you had a relaxing and peaceful getaway amongst the vivid fall colours. I love the fall season for the weather is still warm and makes for a great reason to get outside and go for a nature hike. Your suggestion on additional towel hooks is a great idea and I will be sure to share with the resort team. I hope we can welcome you back again soon for another memorable getaway!

Nice Hotel

Posted Sep 18, 2017
My biggest observation is the hotel is understaffed. The staff is accommodating but trying to wear too many hats. The main bar on a Saturday evening had guests from the Spa in bathrobes and 1 guest barefoot after a treatment of some sort. He should have been told to order from Room service. Lovely services with plenty of options. Good food.

Dear resort guest, thank you for sharing your recent experience. It sounds like you found the resort to be nice but there were some things that stood out as unexpected during your stay. I am sorry if this was the case and will be sure to share your feedback with the resort team. In regards to the use of spa robes, Lakes lobby and bar is a casual and laid back gathering place where guests are encouraged to relax and unwind. Clothing and shoes are required for dining in all restaurants. I hope you will reconsider returning again soon so we may make your stay memorable for all the right reasons.

Overpriced but nice

Posted Sep 3, 2017
This hotel is nice, it's clean but it is WAY overpriced for what it is.. the beach area is really small, the food is good and the restaurants are good but very expensive. The pools are cold but has a nice hot tub that is big.. it's a great place for boats to pull up to have a snack, if you request a one bdrm make sure you ask for a higher floor as the "balcony" they say you have is a couple patio stones looking out on a parking lot.. a lot to pay for that view.. don't think I'd go back. Could get better value elsewhere

Dear guest, thank you for your review. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay but sorry to hear that not all details were favourable. The Engineering team monitors guest feedback to ensure the pool temperatures are enjoyable and I will be sure to share your feedback directly. I find the resort rooms have many unique views of nature that are not often available in the city, whether that may be of the forest canopy, 5 bridges pond, lake or even the campfire and waterfall circle. If you are looking for a specific view that will wow, I always recommend booking lake view for waking up to scenic sunrises from Lake Rosseau are sure to be memorable. I hope you will reconsider returning again soon so we may show you the JW treatment.
