Didn't even clean our room when we were staying for 2 nights. Terrible breakfast. So much chlorine in the pool that your eyes burned just watching the kids swimming and they broke out with a rash on their faces. People smoking pot in their rooms. Will not stay there again.

Pros: The breakfast changed each day and was good. Several choices were offered: oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, breakfast cereal, yougurt, raisins, nut
Cons: The drain in the sink can be improved and the rug going into the bathroom. We had room 215.
Location: We were visiting our son, a chef at Trevail in Robbinsdale. It was close. The restaurant is awesome. There's some kind of a music store next door.
We didn't use it but supposedly there's some kind of bar at the end of an extended hallway "Jammin" or something. The only poor thing I found that was a little disturbing was the sink would not drain quickly. The bed was comfortable but when I asked to have the blanket comforter changed as they changed sheets, upon arriving back the same comforter was there. I got they impression that if you watched them, special requests were done, otherwise ignored. I knew about the blanket because it had the same black marks on it. Also the phone needed to replace so the messages we were to receive could not be brought up. They did fix the phone, not when I asked for it the same day but when I went down to the desk and requested it two days later. Other than that the room was large (we had the king-sized bed) and basically clean. The heater worked and the shower had nice hot water.

Trevail is a favorite restaurant of our staff! I am sorry that you experienced a few issues during your stay. I have passed on your concerns with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that these problems are resolved. We're in the process of allotting $2 million dollars for a renovation this year which includes guest rooms and we hope you'll be back to see the improvements. We I can assure you that we read and take to heart our guest reviews and hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future.

Dirty and LOUD Hotel Stay

Pros: Location
Cons: Very serious cleanliness concerns!!
Price was good, located in a good area, we really had high hopes for this stay. We left very dissapointed. The bathroom was disgusting, hair everywhere. We ordered an extra bath towel, the ones they brought up had long black hairs in them. Pool was gross, mold growing on the tiles in the corners. The bed was fine, nothing special about it. Someone in the hotel was smoking so you could smell it coming through the vents. Location close to the interstate meant it was extremely LOUD at night.

Dear friend, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We appreciate your feedback. I am happy to read that you had found our hotel to be priced well and you enjoy the area. However, I apologize for the concerns that you shared. I appreciate you making me aware of the issues regarding your request for towels, the condition of the pool and especially the smell of smoke in our 100% smoke-free facility. We take these concerns very seriously and will be addressing these with the entire staff. When your travels brings you back to the area, please ask for our King Suites for they do face away from the freeway. Our entire team will receive some retraining as a result of your feedback. Thank you again for your candid comments. Your feedback is very helpful as we continually look for ways to improve the experience for our valued guests.

Room was not dusted/vacuumed and had to clean tub myself - but when I called the front desk they were apologetic and helpful to addressing the matter with great customer service. I do like the location and staff is very polite.

Dear Friend, Thank you for reaching out and writing your review. We are sorry you were not satisfied with the accommodations of your room for the lack of attention to the bathroom as well as dusting/vacuuming under the bed area. We will review the conditions of your room with our housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms are up to Country Inns & Suites by Carlson standards. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to use it for upcoming training for the entire team. We would like to ensure your room is in tip top shape on your next trip to Minnesota. Friendly staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds

We stayed at the Brooklyn Country Inn and Suites during Thanksgiving. The staff, breakfasts, and beds were great. The reception area is welcoming and cookies were always available. Other areas are getting worn out and need to be updated. The night club next was loud the first night we were there. Staff was apologetic and offered to move us to a quieter room. We were upgraded to a handicapped room when we arrived due to a temporary physical issue, and appreciated that. It did not have a walk -in shower, which was not a problem for us, but could have been for someone else. Overall, we had a good experience, and we'll stay there again.

Location: The location was perfect for us as we were down for Surly darkness day at the industrial park. About a 9 minutes uber ride.
The room was excellent. Housekeeping did a great job of making sure everything was stocked. Lots of towels, extra blanket and pillows which is wonderful when you have a group of 4 people. It was the only place I found with two queen size bed. All the staff were very friendly. It was nice a quiet as well so we snuck in a couple of naps. Free parking and wifi is always a bonus. The continental breakfast was amazing. There was something for everyone. The staff all work really hard. We will definitely book again next time we're down in MN.

Pros: Clean and great staff
Cons: Pool was cold and hot tub didn't look clean
Location: Great
Great staff, friendly and accomadating. Continental breakfast good, only the dog's next door started barking from 6am, we had a dog too, thankfully it didn't start after them. Staff were good about it. Over all good place to stay, especially when you have dog as well.
