Nice hotel close to freeway and restaurants

Family friendly hotel

Nice hotel, clean rooms, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Only complaint is there was a birthday pool party at the hotel Saturday afternoon when we wanted to take our baby swimming, it was extremely loud and rowdy with little adult supervision. Our child refused to swim. So that was disappointing, not sure if all the kids were guests of the hotel.

Didn't even clean our room when we were staying for 2 nights. Terrible breakfast. So much chlorine in the pool that your eyes burned just watching the kids swimming and they broke out with a rash on their faces. People smoking pot in their rooms. Will not stay there again.

Hotel is close to the highway and easy to find.

Pros: The breakfast changed each day and was good. Several choices were offered: oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, breakfast cereal, yougurt, raisins, nut
Cons: The drain in the sink can be improved and the rug going into the bathroom. We had room 215.
Location: We were visiting our son, a chef at Trevail in Robbinsdale. It was close. The restaurant is awesome. There's some kind of a music store next door.
We didn't use it but supposedly there's some kind of bar at the end of an extended hallway "Jammin" or something. The only poor thing I found that was a little disturbing was the sink would not drain quickly. The bed was comfortable but when I asked to have the blanket comforter changed as they changed sheets, upon arriving back the same comforter was there. I got they impression that if you watched them, special requests were done, otherwise ignored. I knew about the blanket because it had the same black marks on it. Also the phone needed to replace so the messages we were to receive could not be brought up. They did fix the phone, not when I asked for it the same day but when I went down to the desk and requested it two days later. Other than that the room was large (we had the king-sized bed) and basically clean. The heater worked and the shower had nice hot water.

Dirty and LOUD Hotel Stay

Cons: Very serious cleanliness concerns!!
Price was good, located in a good area, we really had high hopes for this stay. We left very dissapointed. The bathroom was disgusting, hair everywhere. We ordered an extra bath towel, the ones they brought up had long black hairs in them. Pool was gross, mold growing on the tiles in the corners. The bed was fine, nothing special about it. Someone in the hotel was smoking so you could smell it coming through the vents. Location close to the interstate meant it was extremely LOUD at night.

Located next to a restaurant/club and there was lots of people and cars. Parking lot was full and people hanging out in the hotel lobby.

overnight stay

We had a very nice room, everything was clean, and the staff were wonderful. The hotel itself is outdated but that's beside the point. The breakfast area needs to be enlarged and offered more choices. I would recommend this hotel to others.
